Finally a rich spicy soothing chai blend that isnโt a bland joke.
This makes an *surprisingly* good cup of chai, and I am very particular about chai. It reminds of the good stuff we used to be able to get (and probably still can) at coffee places in Santa Cruz CA. Soothing, notably spicy, mildly sweet, unlike most chai tea products you need to brew, which are usually way too weak or donโt get the spices right. To make what I consider exceptionally good variation of this chai compared to what the directions on the package say, I use Half and Half instead of milk. I also use notably more than the recommended amount of product than the package suggests. And finally, I very slowly heat it like the package suggests on the lowest burner setting of my gas stove. It says stir frequently, but since it takes a long time to slowly heat half-and-half over a low burner flame, from the refrigerator to hot, I prepare it in a sauce pan, and I use a variable speed automatic stirrer, that I bought just for this, that stirs constantly. That extracts all the flavors well and makes it incredibly smooth. The automatic stirrer makes it completely hassle-free. I just walk away and come back and check it after about 10 minutes. https://www.amazon.com/StirMATE-Automatic-Variable-Self-Adjusting-Powerful/dp/B076HH4WZM/ref=sxin_31_pa_sp_phone_search_thematic_sspa

Best Chai ever.
Best Chai ever. Not to sweet (many tastes like candy), good taste of ginger and the other spices.

makes a great latte
This is a fantastic tasting chai. The tea is basted in honey already and the spices are whole. It's a little expensive though. They recommend 20g per serving. I weighed it out each time and used it in a 24 ounce chai latte in my hydro flask. I use the stovetop method of preparation and for me, I use 12 oz soymilk, 12 oz water and extra honey. You get about 12 servings if you weight it.

All of the other reviews weren't wrong - it's pretty good... if you like licorice
So I read the reviews and then proceeded to buy 1kg of the Prana Chai Masala Blend so I had ample opportunity to try it - it took me a while to plow through it all and I drink a lot of tea. So it has an intense flavor - I would think they must use oils in the recipe. If I had to guess it would be cinnamon, and licorice oil - there's not enough spices to make sense for the strong flavor from the tea. It's slightly sweet. The licorice is a bit overwhelming but it's a nice warming flavor in the morning and I like it. Prana Chai doesn't taste a lot like the classic chai flavor that I'm used to - it's much more flavorful and the strong licorice is not what I consider a traditional flavor anyway - but it's a good flavor and I like it. I'll buy more.

Not as flavourful as some other brands.
A bit weak in flavour compared to other sticky chai tea's I've had.

Mmmm Prana Chai Masala Blend: The tea the soothes the soul and makes you feel as special as you are.
This is my first experience with REAL Chai tea. I've used bags for years and instantly fell in love with it. When I opened this bag, I was quite surprised that the tea was dampish (not sure how to say it properly). I tried using almond milk and following the directions that came on the bag. I found the almond milk to be too filling for me. I tried it with just water and I evidently didn't put enough of the tea in because it was way too light and the tea didn't have enough flavor (for me). I use this as a special treat so I don't drink it on a daily basis. I'm finally getting it down to a flavor and consistency I really enjoy. This is a very special tea and anyone who enjoys Masala Chai should definitely try it. It's a treat actually seeing the spices mixed with the black tea, much better than a tea bag! The only thing I would change about it is to remove the honey and allow consumers to use their choice of sweetener.

This is just so good. This makes ordinary "dry" chai seem like a sad, lonely shut-in compared to Prana Chai's bright, cheery, sociable roommate. You know, the girl everyone likes just because they are not just beautiful, but elegant; and impossibly nice; also a little saucy; and maybe a little dangerous after a couple of cocktails. In other words, this is the real deal. Sweet like honey. Nutty. Cardamom-y. With only a kiss of anise, when other Chai will hit you over the backside of the head with it. Preparation is simple as all get out. Heat some milk. Stir in some Chai. Wait a few minutes. Pour into a strainer over a cup. Sip slowly. In closing, the best way I can say it is that my coffee habit now has a playmate.

Bitter
I expected a sweet, flavorful, and spicy chai, but the taste of this is horrible. I tried making it with milk, but that is way too much milk for me and it wasn't really great anyway so I tried it with water and then it was just weak and underwhelming. I tried a mixture of milk and water and that wasn't good either. I give up.
