The Just Fitter Ketone Test Strips are the best value I've found on Keto strips and they work great. I especially like the handy label included for keeping track of when I've opened a bottle the first time. I use them often enough that I'm not likely going to run past the best use lifetime but I also like knowing how long the bottle lasted. The best thing about using Keto test strips is seeing the immediate results of your dietary changes and knowing that those changes are actually creating tangible results. As you see the test color change and get darker it is very encouraging and helps you to stay motivated and on track. Once you reach your target level of ketosis, the test strips are vital for knowing how small adjustments in your carb intake affect your level. I use these strips constantly to keep myself aware of what my body is doing and also to stayed motivated. If I see my average level falling off (going down) I know I need to restrict the carbs more to get it back up. As a Type 2 Diabetic, it can be hard for me to get back into ketosis when I fall out and so I like to avoid that pitfall.

These ketone test strips are a great product. I am on the Atkins diet and they show me if I am successfully eliminating carbs so as to burn fat. She writes to you, not so often as to bug you, but just to offer extra explanations of the product and to take questions. These strips work great and have thoughtful positioning of color charts & plenty of shelf life. The reason I say this is because I saw that people were confusing the lot number/manufacturing date as the expiration date. Just FYI, here is the order of the numbers on the bottle and what they mean: - Lot Number - Manufacturing Date - Expiration Date Customer support was fast and friendly. The gentlemen I reached out to was very nice and was eager to make sure all of my questions were answered. I’ve used a quite a few Ketone strips and these seem to give me the most consistent and accurate results. Can’t beat the value either getting 125 quality strips for under $10 is fantastic. Good product. Good price. Rapid shipping. I use them to check nutritional ketosis. I have been generally in ketosis for about 6 months. I do blood testing to see where I am. I have been comparing these strip test results against my blood tests. I find that the strips work easily and well with ketone levels at 1.5 and greater. I find they work okay at lower levels (0.4 - 1.5) but it is harder for me to see the color difference. I find if I let them stand for 1 or 2 minutes (rather than just the 15 seconds) it is significantly easier for me to discern approximate levels. Given they are inexpensive, my plan is to switch to them and only do the significantly more expensive blood tests on an occasional basis. This product is a good value.

I use these test strips in conjunction with my KetoMojo to check if my intermittent fasting is working to put me in Ketosis. The test strips are a low cost alternative for Ketosis testing. I use the test strips to determine if I am in beginning states of Ketosis and use the more expensive and accurate KetoMojo tests to determine if I am in Autophagy or approaching Autophagy. I am not using Ketosis for weight loss (although that works too). I am seeking the regeneration benefits of Autophagy for best heart and brain health. It's working.

I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this product, but decided to order them anyway. A lot of complaints about the strips not working. Well, I had mixed results. I was following a strict keto diet. I'm 195lb male and I never came close to 20g of carbs in a day. I tracked everything I put in my body with an app. Unfortunately using the strips as recommended yielded different results throughout the day and on different days. And not a small amount either. Some days it would register NO ketones. Some it would register a trace...and on a rare occasion it would register the first pink color. Based on these results I stopped using them regularly. I took a break from the keto diet and recently started up again. I tried the strips again. Again, it registered no ketones. I wondered if 15 seconds was the problem, so I waited 30. Then I got a color between trace and low. One night I tested before my evening routine instead of after. When I went to leave the bathroom I noticed a purple square sitting in the garbage. Yep, the strip showed the highest level...after a few minutes of sitting. I contacted the company and this is the troubling response I got: "the strips will generally last 60 days after breaking the foil seal" Nowhere on the box, bottle or product page does it say to use within 60 days. The only "use by" is on the box which says to use by the expiration date. In fact, every source on the internet says these types of bulk keto strips should last SIX months!

This is an easy way to test your ketone levels and whether or not your body is in Ketosis. These are especially helpful when you are on a low carb diet. He tried many throughout the years, currently trying the keto diet. However if you test your urine during the day you will not get an accurate reading of what is really going on in your body...it may tell you that you have a smaller level of ketones than you actually do. When measuring any levels you will get the most accurate reading on an empty stomach, when the body has fasted for a long period of time (while you sleep). So definitely try to sample first thing in the morning before you have had coffee or breakfast. If you are able to do so, start urinating then after a few seconds get the strip into the stream...sorry I know that sounds gross... but you’ll get a more accurate reading. A higher amount of ketones in your urine does not actually mean you are going to lose more weight, but it will tell you if you are in Ketosis.

These worked great at first for testing ketone levels while on a ketogenic diet. I tested everyday for about a month before it started saying my ketone levels were negligible. I hadn’t changed my diet at all but I thought, ok, time to crack down and for about a week I was extremely strict with my diet and still it said the same thing. I finally thought, maybe the strips went bad. So I ordered some new ones, and wouldn’t you know it, my Ketone levels were fine, the strips had gone bad. It does warn you that they are very sensitive to moisture and they have a desiccant in the bottle for this reason but I was always very careful to remove one quickly and close it back tightly. The strips work great for about 30 days, but there’s no point in buying 150 because they will not last long enough to use all of them.
