Replaced our old vent hood. I love how this works and looks. The high speed is a little noisy but it lights the whole area well and works very well. It was pretty easy to install.

Finally got around to installing this insert in an existing hood. Install went quick and easy, have been enjoying for several months. Lights are bright, fan is strong. High-fan is loud but it moves some air, great for when you burn something. Low-fan is perfect for normal cooking. Moving just enough air to pull smoke, steam, fumes up and out but quiet enough to enjoy a conversation while you cook. If I had the need, I would buy again.

Great direct replacement for an older model. Easy install, no modification needed. Great lights. High speed fan is a little loud.. overall great product.

I bought this to replace a Braun 3 speed with a squeaky motor that was $400 to replace. For the price of this, it was an easy replacement. My only problem with it is the fan is either super low or super high. Wish there was a middle toggle. Low barely does anything, high is too loud.

Got it to replace a hood vent that was 24 years old. Arrived in perfect condition. Took some figuring to get it in correctly as the older cabinet was not built like expected but got it in and it looks great. Also nice bright lights, and fan is pretty powerful. Fairly loud but it’s ok because it is moving the air as it should.

I installed this for a client of mine and it worked out perfectly for the space she had we could have gone alittle bigger. She was mostly happy about the switches being so accessible.

Purchased this a few weeks ago. Arrived on time. However, the installation sucked. The insert tabs did not work. Had to drill it will screws to get it to stay in place. And yes, it fits the hole correctly. Then, once installed the fan is hitting something thumping very loudly. We have removed and tried everything. It is worthless!

So ordered this range hood for mini kitchen Reno. It may work fantastic don’t know. May never know. We need parts to install and apparently cannot get parts for this unit. Very very frustrated. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to connect with Broan Customer Service - to ask the simple question of 'what kind of non-duct recirculation kit fits the Broan Nutone PM300SS range hood? For the poor customer service, I have rated the product only 1-star and will likely return.
