I bought this at the recommendation from my buddy and a limited time discount. Because of the size and light weight I was pretty skeptical that it had enough power to actually jump start a car. So, I have a 99 BMW with the 2.5 liter straight 6. I recently bought a new battery but had not installed it yet. This car has been in my shop and has not been started/run in at least 9 months. For the test, I connected the fully charged Yaber jump start directly to cars positive and negative cables and the engine started right up. To be honest, the Yaber did not crank the engine over quite as fast as the $180, 50 pound interstate battery that I installed after my above test but, at 11.3 ounces, this little unit packs quite a punch. Going to order another one of these to keep in my wife’s tree hugger hybrid Prius and the Yeber 6000 amp unit to keep in my diesel truck.

Couldn’t even jump a motorcycle battery. Jump pack showed full but failed to start the bike. Another jump pack was able to work. This product failed at its intended purpose.
