Works out of the box and are reliable
We have quite a few of these running on VMWare servers and I also went ahead and stuck one in my desk station because, why not have a 10GB dual NIC in it? They perform well and have had 0 issues running 24/7 and are a good economical option for adding dual NIC capable of 10Gig (the HP branded ones can be expensive). No compatibly issues with VMWare or Windows Server or Window 11. We have them in HP and Dell servers and my desktop is a custom built ASUS with an AMD CPU.

Works flawlessly with Windows 11
I was a bit worried about operating system compatibility, because the product desription doesn't explicitly list Windows 11 as being supported. I was prepared for manual driver installation, but I was pleasantly surprised that Windows recognized the card and automatically installed/configured the software for it. The network card works and perfoms as expected. I am using this network card in a generic PC with an MSI MPG Z490 motherboard (MS-7C79), running Windows 11 Pro Ver.10.0.22631. I'm using 10Gtek 10GBase-SR LC transceivers and LC OM3 fiber cables.

Did not ever work
I purchased this card and installed the included drivers but was never able to get the card to work. Intel locks their cards to specific sfp+ modules but this card seemed to be unlocked and would not work with modules specifically for intel cards either. I spent a lot of time on this and in the end I'm giving up on it working correctly for me.. UPDATE: The seller helped me to troubleshoot the connection issues I was having and it turned out to be a bad sfp+ module connected to my router and not the card. Thank you for the support!

So far So good- HP Server upgrades for Vmware HPE gen 8,gen 9,gen 10 DL series
Needed to expand to 10Gb for some rackmount HP servers, for a production environment. We ran active passive on all 10Gb connections for storage and Data. cards are working great no issues with vmware or HPE. Thanks for the great price. BTW I did my research on the chipset compatibility for VMware before proceeding.

Economical choice, but know the detail
These seem to work okay except if you expect 24/7 up time non-stop. The Broadcom one I got will sometimes drop off from my network, and will require a reboot. I found out that the chip was pretty hot and the lack of perforation on the IO plate seems to limit air flow in a rack mount unit. Also these are not exactly made by Broadcom, but Beijing Sinead. If you look around you can find genuine Broadcom made cards for not much more. Overall, a good test piece to enter the 10G world, dependability and risk of using a China company made (not just OEM) will be your consideration.

Worked right out of the box!
I had previously purchased an Intel based 10Gbp SFP+ here on Amazon for around the same price, but had nothing but trouble. In the previous purchase, I tried in several Linux computers and it would never work. I returned it and decided to try out a Broadcom based dual SFP+ solution. I was *delighted* when I popped this one into my first server and Proxmox found it without issues. I've run it now for a number of days and I'm getting a clean 10Gbps connection in my home lab!

There is no driver available for download so this purchase is useless
Keep getting a "504 gateway error" when trying to download from 10gtek.com website and their support system doesn't seem work either
