What is the percentage of sugar in this product?

there should be specs in the ordering information. I used the product and tossed the bag. This is what I found in a simple google search: The sugar level in quality dry molasses should be 42% percent vs. the 38% and less that is on the market. The Stockade dry molasses products contain the proper amount of sugar. Liquid molasses is sweet syrup that is used as a food, but also as a soil amendment to feed and stimulate microorganisms.

Can you use this in your garden soil mix?

I follow the organic program prescribed by the Dirt Doctor, Howard Garrett. His program includes Dried Molasses (stimulates organic activity), Rock Minerals (restores soil mineral balance - I use Azomite) and Lava Sand which water holding capacity in soil. I've used this program for 3 years now, and have seen great improvements in plant health and flower production!

Is this bag considered molasses flakes? i don't want powder.

This product is definitely powder, which is just what I wanted, not flakes.

How is this used in the lawn? Can it be used in a spreader?

The mix of molasses and grain products is ground as fine as some lawn products I have used. I would expect you could use it in a spreader. It cakes together in storage, so use it soon after purchase.
