Astrobrights Colored Paper, Solar Yellow

I was really happy with this product. It’s good quality check and arrived quickly.

I purchased this Solar Yellow paper to refill my stock collection of every known color of Astrobrights/ Neenah/ Wausau paper on Earth. My Solar Yellow had run out so I took a chance and ordered a “used” one that was already opened for a discount, and I was not disappointed. The paper is 24 pound (lb) or about 89 grams per square meter (gsm), and is the perfect paper specification to use to fold paper airplanes. I also use it on occasion to teach origami in my elementary school Origami class for certain models that benefit from the use of thicker paper. I can attest that the colors of all Astrobrights level paper are vibrant and safe for the environment. They do not bleed when wet, but they will break apart and biodegrade over time if left outside in the rain, as evidenced by my students’ paper airplanes when they are lost or left outdoors over the weekend.

Back in the day I bought the same brand but with assort the colors, I noticed I only used the "yellow" one, So, I decided to buy only yellow. I bought this color thinking SOLAR YELLOW is the one, but it was not the right color. I needed something with more "Redish" undertones. So, I returned and got a different one. I loved the quality and the thickness, if you are studding and need to make notes and tape it to the wall, this paper is the one for you.

The paper itself is exactly what I need. However, the ream of paper and a small box of thermal laminating pouches were in a box with nothing to secure them. So by the time we picked up at UPS, we had a box with damage, and the paper was completely unwrapped and about 1/3 of the sheets are bent. I can still make the paper feed through the machine for the project, it was a good price. I would like better packaging in the future.

Works as expected, fast delivery. I do my research before buying, especially looking at reviews like this. I look for the best products at the best prices. Sometimes I am a little overly frugal, other times I splurge for the best of the best. This product hit the right spot and would get it again.

I mean.. what can you review on this product. Its paper. I print words on it with ink. It doesn't bleed through or rip easily. So there's that. Its not bad. Does what I need it to do when I need to do it.

Excellent quality and price

good solid red colour, not as dark as pictured but still a satisfactory red colour. the paper is a really good weight, even though it's only 24lb (compared to printer paper which is usually 20lb) it feels a lot heavier and nicer quality. this however is not cardstock weight, which is usually 65 lb if you're looking for that weight. it's too bad this isn't sold in 100 sheet packages.

I was keeping my fingers crossed that I get this great shade of yellow… WISH GRANTED!!! Love love love the bright yellow color 👍🏻
