It's Ok. It takes a long time to shrink to its minimum size. It's thick material and the glue has to heat-up. I'm not sure that it shrinks down from 3:1. It seems to come-up a little bit short on that. Your results may vary.

Good quality but pricey, but if you are protecting electrics, then this is the one. Wish it came in shorter lengths, so I could have gotten a size down too. Shrinkage is uniform, have to cut open to re do and the wire comes away neatly which is also a bonus. Very durable but measured diameter wrong, but that's on me. I've used this on all my bikes wiring and seems solid so far.
