3 pcs Universal Car Garage Tools Ball Joint Separator Splitter Tie Rod End Removal Tool Set

2010 ford focus 1.6 tdci, replaced lower suspension arm -> used these tools to remove tie rod balljoint and suspension arm balljoint. Worked perfectly, used some ‘plus gas’ releasing fluid and took a bit of ‘elbow grease’ but released them very well. Very glad I got them, made it pretty straightforward :-)Would I recommend, yes, based on great experience today will recommend!Update: the original ball joint came off easily but for various reasons, I had to refit (remove and replace) the new one which was slightly wider above the ball joint itself. This needed the extractor fork to be made a little bit wider to fit, used an angle grinder take a little off each side of the fork and then worked fine.

Used for removing a strut from a ball joint that was extremely seized. Also used one of them for removing a crank arm from a bicycle. Very handy to have

Only used the longer splitter of the three and it worked really well. Did what it was supposed to do and made the job easier without damaging the rubber boot. I read the reviews where people have said cheaply made but i'd disagree based on what i received as all three seem to be relativley sturdy, if any of them was going to fail i would say it would be the longer one that i used because of the length then more stress in the metal but i think these will last a long time. Very happy!

Nicely made and work well. Used to remove ball joints from a Mercedes C class and a Nissan So far without problems. Good addition to the toolbox..

I had a choice between 2 different brands for the same price and only choose this set because the mouth opening on one of the tools was what I needed.However when I opened the box and took a look the build quality was very poor.Bolts wouldn’t thread through the holes properly, machine quality is bad
