What is the source of the Pepsin used in this product? The Amazon description states "all vegetarian" but label says "not suitable for vegetarians".

Manufacturers were efficient in responding to email. This product is made from BOTH porcine and bovine (pork and beef). The pepsin is pork the capsules are bovine. Beware if ALLERGIC.

How many mg are there in this product?

Betaine HCL 650 mg, Pepsin (1:10,000) 25 mg, and Gentian root 20 mg per capsule.

How big are these pills?

These are gelatin-capsules on the outside. They are 7/8 of an inch long and about 3/16 of an inch wide. I have trouble swallowing large pills, but these aren't too large for me to swallow.

Does anyone know the source of the betaine hcl? is it synthetic? maybe the seller will answer. thank you.
