This case was challenging but fun sorting through the evidence finding the murder(s). Definitely takes about 2 hours to play in one session. Will do more!

It was my first time playing a game like this, and it’s a bit different from what I expected. I felt a bit clueless about how to start. Sharing this so first timers can know what to expect.Basically, you are given a folder of evidence. There is no order to the pieces of evidence, so you need to read all of them at once. (I was hesitant at first as it was a lot of reading materials.) After reading all the materials, you then need to construct a timeline in order to determine which character was at which location at what time - with the goal of establishing an alibi for the characters. Then through the process of elimination, you are left with one character, who is the killer.There are a few puzzles you need to solve during the process that take some brain power / can take some time. These are easy puzzles that anyone can solve if they put some thinking to it. Otherwise, piecing together the timeline is quite straightforward.The game is reusable as you won’t damage any of the materials when solving the case. Of course knowing the answers, you probably won’t play it again. But you can have friends play it over and over if you like.On a final note, I played the game solo. I tried playing with my husband at first, but it became a bit frustrating having to explain what I read to him. (If multiple people are playing, you are better off having every person reading all of the materials, instead of divide and conquer.) If your goal is to have conversations / work on communication skills with your partner/friends, feel free to play with them. Otherwise if your goal is just to solve a puzzle, I recommend playing it solo.

My wife and I very much enjoyed solving this mystery together. We have two more sitting on the shelf waiting for us and I have no doubt that we will buy more. This one has the lowest difficulty rating of the three that we bought. What we learned is that we really didn’t need the hints. After we got it wrong on the first attempt, we had already figured out most of the info that the hints gave us. We resolved to not use hints going forward. It may take a bit longer to solve the next puzzles, but the fun is in the process, not the result. Enjoy!

Fun to do on a weeknight or rainy day. The evidence is complicated enough to take a while, but not something that will take longer than 2 hours or is so over-complicated it’s no longer fun. Would buy another case from this company in the future!

Fun to do alone or with the family. I couldn’t stop once I started, the hints helped tremendously!

This is my third one if these now and I am really enjoying them! They are the right difficulty Vs fun ratio and if you are stuck there are hints online that help answer or guide you to the right way of thinking. Everything in the pack is great quality and well thought out. It is great value for money too, for an evening in, it is a great way to do something different with an evening!

Bought it on recommendation of a friend and we had great fun solving it. Its all very well put together and all the evidence is really high quality including the online elements. Can’t wait for the next one
