My favorite tea with a few personal notes. I don't like it hot, I'm not sure why, but the flavor seems less pronounced. I put the bag and a little hot water in my travel mug, let it steep, then fill with ice and cold water; I leave the bag in. No sugar or sweetener and I'm obsessed with it. It helps me get through the morning of my intermittent fasting because it tastes so good, more like coconut but there is definitely a chocolate note.

I have previously reviewed this tea when I bought it as part of a multi-pack sampler that had four other flavors. This was one of my favorite flavors and I was too happy to order a can of just Coconut Cocoa! It's just a heavenly mix of Coconut and Cocoa, very tropical and exotic and soothing. It tastes like I am drinking a delectable drink full of calories when in fact it is guilt-free! This does have a very small amount of caffeine in it - I have a sensitivity to caffeine that causes severe, uh, digestive issues and this had no negative effects on me whatsoever. It is especially delicious with a splash of almond milk. The Republic of Tea has delicious teas that I would highly recommend, especially their Dandelion Root tea The Republic Of Tea Organic Dandelion Superherb Herbal Tea, 36 Tea Bags, Caffeine-Free, Non-Gmo Verified which is great for reducing bloating (PMS!). I would also recommend purchasing the sampler pack of Cuppa Chocolate Teas: The Republic Of Tea Cuppa Chocolate Tea Assortment, 24 Tea Bags, Low Calorie Chocolate Dessert Tea which has chocolate strawberry, chocolate mint, banana chocolate and red velvet chocolate along with the coconut chocolate.

So I can't quite figure out the proper steep time making it hot, no matter how warm, hot, boiling, it tastes weak to me. BUT, put 4 bags in half a liter of water and make SUN TEA out of it...SO GOOD. It's a great replacement for a sweet tooth during the middle of the day, cool and refreshing. Tastes like a chocolate macaroon! Ok so you have to use your imagination on this, but I'm not trying to have a salad when I'm craving a KitKat bar. In my opinion: good, brain-tricking substitute.

You have to use 2 bags for bout 8 Oz but it's pretty good.

Embarassing to say, but I had this tea sitting in my pantry for a year. I did have one cup of it back then, but it tasted OKAY, at best. I steeped the bag in hot water and let the flavors alone dictate my rating of this tea. That's how I always drink my tea - just hot water and the tea on its own. I had someone tell me that I should try some good creamer (half-and-half) with this Coconut Cocoa tea, then add some sugar (real pure cane, not processed American brand junk). The result? WOW!!! Talk about delicious! No joke, this tea came alive. The creamer and pure cane sugar totally enhanced the coconut flavor of this tea. I had two cups and made some for the kids and they really liked it as well. Yes, this tea is very delicious. I read something in the ratings about this tea not being thick enough. Well, no, its not a thick tea. Its the regular consistency that you would see in any other hot, flavored tea. I see that there are eight cannisters available from the vendor as of right now. Sorry folks, but I am gonna order all eight of them right now. Yes, this tea is that good! UPDATE: Found better pricing for this item at the Republic of Tea website. Vendor on amazon charges higher price and tacks on a high shipping and handling fee.
