CamelBak Kid's 2016 Scout Hydration Pack

Great kiddo pack. ve always been a fan of Camelbak gear. I have a few of their day packs. Now that my daughter is 2 and really wants to copy mom and dad, but also wants to help and be self sufficient, I decided it was time to start looking for something she could carry. Many kiddo packs are just Chinese garbage, This product however is very well made but in smaller scale. It also comes with the 1/2 sized (1.5L) bladder and bite valve. It's JUST small enough that my daughter can carry it and not have it hit the back of her legs like a small adult pack would and big enough that she should be able to use it for years to come and even into school years. I got this one on close out pricing which is reasonable. The price for the new version is a bit steep but it does come with the bladder and it's quality so it may be worth the cost still. You can see in the pictures that it is also small enough that you can put the sternum strap from your own pack through the straps on the Scout and front carry it when your little one tires out. :)

Bought this just prior to a two week family vacation for my 8 year old daughter. We made several hikes during the vacation and having the kids carry their own water, extra clothes and snacks was great! No more complaining about being thirsty or hungry or constantly wanting to get items out of my pack or putting them away. Really makes them part of the hike and teaches them to be responsible. Going to continue to use this as a day pack for her girl scout events. Definitely better than the standard Camelbaks that just hold water and have a couple small pouches.Tip- buy extra bite valves, especially for younger kids. Getting the hang of using the valves takes some time for them and they bite holes through the valves.

Great little back pack. We haven't used yet out hiking but my kids all wear theirs around the house since they got them. No one is dehydrated here!We have however hiked with others that have their kids in these packs which is why I got them. They are large enough to even fit a little pack lunch in. We can't wait to test them out on the trail. So far they've been nice and easy to clean. We bought one in blue and two in purple for our kids who are 7, 5 and almost 3 . Both are nice colors. My almost 3 year old can wear and carry her water in it no problem and she loves that she has something that the bog kids have too.

I've reccomended these to several people and will continue to do so. They are great for gtubed children to carry as a pump bag. Thanks camelback for giving our kiddo's comfort.

Perfect size for my tiny kindergartener. Like the slim design. His teacher said he needed a bigger backpack but all his folders and large library books fit without wasted bulky space. Material is durable. The water bladder is just an added bonus. We empty school books out and use for weekend hikes, or will use later in the year with hot days walking home from school.

My girlfriend needed one with some storage. She's about 5' 2" with a petite build. She loves it. Uses it for more than hiking. It's a great day backpack with or without the bladder.

I originally bought this for me (5,2 100lbs) but it does not fit a womans body. It's more the size for my 5 year old to take to school. She enjoys having water available when. She's thirsty.

My youngest son is so excited to get this backpack to go hiking with our family. It is a little big for him, as he's only 3 years old, but we figure he'll have it for years and years. We bought this one because we already had all three designs of the more minimal Camelbak for kids that has pockets for snacks and such.My only negative is that I wish they would update colors every once in a while so those of us with more than one or two children can get a unique design or color for each child. I waited about three years since I bought the other children's packs and still no new colors.But as far as functionality, I think it's going to be great.

Il prodotto è ben costruito, ben rifinito e si vede che è un prodotto di qualità, a giustificazione del costo che è altino. Compatto, sacca perfettamente integrata, comoda da estrarre e da riempire (ma non si può lavare all’interno!) qualche vano all’interno della sacca. Lo abbiamo comprato per un bambino di dieci anni che desiderava un articolo del genere, che lo rende autonomo in passeggiata per portare le sue cose e soprattutto per bere quando vuole. Unico difetto la mancanza di un coperchio per proteggere la valvola che si mette in bocca per bere. Lo consiglio e lo ricomprerei

Warum Mann denkt das Kinderprodukte fast gleich teuer sein sollten als der Erwachsene Version und kommen mit weniger guten Überlegungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.- Der Big Bite Valve hat kein gemachten platz zu befestigt werden vorne so das es nicht lose ist. Dh: das es im Weg ist und runter hängt wenn das Kind lauft, spielt, tanzt, etc.- Der Big Bite Valve ist aus Silikon - was sehr gut ist - aber das heisst auch das es ein natürlichen kleb Effekt an Gegenständen.- Es Fehlt ein Bändel um die Hüfte. Was würde sehr viel Stabilität schenken beim Laufen, Velo Fahren, und Berg auf und runter gehen.- Es Fehlt ein Wasser / Regen Schutz.- Bei der Blase selber kann mann der Schlauch nicht einfach weck nehmen. nur mit grossem mühe und umständlich. Das müsste angepasst werden.- Der Brust Verschluss ist gut.- Die Seiten Taschen sind gut.- Der vorne durchsichtigen Tasche ist ein toller Idee obwohl für delikaten sammelstücke - sowie moss, Blumen, federn, und blättern ist es schlecht durch gedacht : der Eingang / verschloss sowie volume und form. Für alles was etwas schmutzig ist, wird es auch sehr schwierig zum putzen.- die Rücksack brauchte Reflektoren.- Es würde mich freuen die Grundsätzlichen Design element mit der Big Bite Valve vorne anzumachen, Wasser Schutz, und Wasser Blase, und Hüfte bindle zu sehen: DIE SIND EIN MUSS!!

Compre esta bolsa de hidratación para mi hija y le gustó mucho, el color y le gusta mucho que no batalla cuando tiene sed, además tiene espacio suficiente para guardar accesorios.

My 8 year old loves this! We have both the blue and purple versions for our kids. It makes hiking so much more fun, and they whine so much less. No fights over water bottles anymore. No complaining about hands being full. We also used them walking around Paris, worked out great. One of our best kid gear buys!

I had and old Camelback scout, and I find this one made cheaper (the transparent plastic pocket is quite ugly....)
