Duracell Procell are the best batteries. They have lasted longer than any other battery we have used.

With a few minutes of research you will see that these batteries are made by Duracell, but are made to meet HIGHER STANDARDS than the Coppertops in terms of capacity and build quality. Coppertops are the "everyday man's" battery for normal demand, but the Duracell Procell is made for industrial use, and is therefore not sold in quantities under a 24-pack, which is why you never see them in local stores. The Procell is not only superior to the Coppertop, it is also a fraction of the price (roughly 50%-75% cheaper per battery). The Procells are a well kept secret. While the public dishes out premium prices for small packs of Coppertops at their local gas station, people in industry buy large quantities of Procells for a fraction of the price and they last longer and hold up to more abuse. Once you learn about these Procells you'll never buy Coppertops again.

With two kiddo's at home (6.5 & 2.5) we tear through batteries. I had been buying them from Costco, thinking I was getting a great deal, but in reality, the batteries from CostCo not only would lose charge faster, but were more expensive and ultimately more difficult to use. More difficult to use you ask? The CostCo batteries came in one large pack, and when you open it you've basically got 24-36 batteries all loose sitting in your hand, or a drawer, waiting to be confused with older batteries that may still be in that same drawer. The big advantage for these ProCell's are their longer life and individual handy packages of 4.

We began using the ProCell battery brand about 3 1/2 years ago and found them to be the most long lasting and reliable batteries of any we have used in the past. While ProCells may not be the least expensive, we learned our lesson that you get what you pay for and ProCells have always provided long lasting service to whatever electronic or other device we use them in, one of the key factors in addition to lengthy of service is not having any ProCell ever leak. Prior to trying ProCell batteries we would often go with whatever battery was on sale which in most instances was a store brand battery. The store brand batteries have never lasted to their expiration date and in many instances have begun leaking acid in the storage draw before we get to use them or in the devices and I do mean plural devices causing a very messy clean up. The store brand battery leakage even ate the paint off the top of one of my filing cabinets after they began leaking from a portable light I had sitting on it. In 3 1/2 years of purchasing various sizes of Procell batteries we have never had one begin leaking and they have always provided longer service for whatever device we use them in.
