Nice little kit to put snap buttons on leather/faux leather, etcNot much bad to say here, and if you have a decent mallet or peen, everything else is included here to get it done. Two thumbs up — er, 5 stars :)

Poor quality. Does not function as advertised.I’ve used grommets before with a hand setter. I purchased these is because I needed more depth than traditional grommets have.The hand setter doesn’t lead to enough curve of the grommets. I attempted multiple times with various hammer weights and with varying degrees of force, also tried multiple work surfaces, none caused enough grommet curl for the grommet to actually secure to two pieces together.Also, the grommet would collapse asymmetrically (the grommet head didn’t fit nicely in the provided anvil, which I suspect led to the unevenness).

I got these to finish up some kydex sheaths I formed at home. The included die and punch work to roll and finish the eyelets, and the eyelets are great quality. But the die and punch aren't the best for setting the eyelets, they can flatten the lip or mar them a bit if you're not careful.Overall this is a great value to DIY if you aren't too concerned about looks. If you want better looking, you need to spend a lot more on a higher quality eyelet punch.

It does what it says it does. The shipping sucked but that was usps. The eyelet smasher doodad does what it is supposed to do

I use it when making kydex knife sheathes. Works well.

Eyelet quality 7/10Setter quality 9/10BUT both orders, the original and replacement had the same issue.Eyelets and setters do not match. Setter set (EZ SMITH #8) and eyelets do not match. Setters and eyelets do not match like in the product picture. Eyelets should fit completely in the setter with flush fitment.Sent items are mix match and eyelets don’t fit, when attempting to press or punch, the eyelets wobble in the setter and will pressing crooked.I believe it is a packaging issue, not a manufacturer issue. The eyelets and Setters are packaged separately- i believe they are mixing up the setters and eyelets. Beware, i already spoke with Amazon Customer service but i don’t know if the underlying issue will be resolved. If manufacturer sees this review, please confirm and reach out to amazon for clarification and fix.

It does work but takes an immense amount of finesse to get a good rivet.
