Such a great product house with the plants and helps keep algae as long as you keep up with your maintenance of course. I noticed good growth and less BBA when used.

I keep one of these bottle connected to my doser at all time. It works well to help keep away any algae I dont want. For my tank this is coupled with CO2 injection and dosing of standard flourish, flourish Iron and flourish potassium. Love this large bottle. I actually drilled a small hole in the cap and run the intake tube from my doser straight into this bottle.

Plants really take off after using for a couple days. Algae died off and isn’t able to take hold. Great product when used accordingly. Makes plants super healthy and will need to also make sure you give the plants root tabs to keep up the health and size.

Excel works well in keeping algae in check if your water parameters are already good. It will make iron in your water much more usable for your plants. So, if your substrate does not contain iron, then your plants much get their iron from the water. Excel will insure that the iron is usable from the water column.

Great price compared to Petco, Petsmart and the usual fish stores. My husband uses this in both his aquariums to keep the water fresh and decrease the algea.

I did a bunch of research before buying this product, and i am not let down. My plants are doing great. I still have black beard algae so i cant say much about it being an algaecide. I don't follow the directions either, i dose 3x the amount for my tank every day and have had no adverse reactions. I have shrimp and vallisneria and they both thriving.
