Compact, Convenient, and Great for Small Spaces
The Dash Mini Round Electric Griddle is a perfect little appliance for anyone living in an apartment or with limited kitchen space. It’s compact, easy to use, and surprisingly versatile. It's great for cooking small pancakes, eggs, or even a quick grilled sandwich. The nonstick surface makes cleanup simple, and it heats up quickly thanks to the handy indicator light. It works very well for what it is, but the cooking surface is small, so it’s best for single servings or quick snacks rather than full meals. Still, the trade-off is its tiny footprint and convenience, which make it ideal for dorms, offices, or minimalist kitchens. Overall, this Dash Mini Griddle is a smart, space-saving solution that delivers solid performance in a small package. It's definitely worth it for anyone who values function and simplicity without affecting the taste of your food.

So tiny and cute
It’s very small, like a grapefruit almost. Easy to operate, just plug it in, no dials or buttons. It’s easy to clean, just wipe it down once it cools. It does get very hot on the top and sides during operation, so be careful using it. The first night I made a fried egg, I would have made more, but I only had one egg. It didn’t take long at all, and bam, a fried egg! Then I got crazy and made a tiny quesadilla with tortillas (I cut them to size) and shredded cheese and chicken. Very delicious, with toasty crispy tortillas and melted cheese. I think it will be fun to make single servings, but if you’re cooking for more than one or two people maybe get a big griddle or use a pan. It’s so freaking cute and tiny though, I love it. I’m going to try mini pizzas and mini grilled cheese, and maybe mini homemade tortillas :P Get yourself a soft heat resistant spatula or something for manipulating whatever you’re cooking. Like if you want to flip your egg or slide it off onto a plate. Update, tiny grilled cheese was a success Update times two, it didn’t do so well on the brown and serve turkey sausage patties, but it is amazing at eggs. If you whisk your egg first then and pour it in to cook it makes kind of an egg pancake, which works very well in breakfast sandwiches. Very easy to wipe clean.

Cute and works well!
Update: still find this a very useful griddle. Two tips 1. use small silicone tipped tongs to open and close the lid without risking being burned by the heat - see pic 2. put tinfoil and/or paper towel under it to capture splatter. The splatter is very fine but even with the lid down it was about 3 inches all around the griddle 3. gently press down on the lid with the tongs ( no need to press hard and if you do it may tip the griddle forward) to speed up cooking and further reduce the opening size that splatter can come from This griddle is tiny and cute but it's also useful and does a great job of grilling a small item I cooked a small beef tenderloin on it. I put olive oil on th steak along with salt pepper and fresh minced garlic Nothing sticked! The griddle gets very hot. See bubbles in the pics attached. I cooked one side, flipped it over then put the lid down and it "browned" it beautifully. If you just have a small steak/patty or single egg or anything else in a small size this is a great way to cook it without hauling out frying pans and firing up the stove. Clean up was easy. I just let it cool and wiped the plates with a damp paper towel I didn't give it 5 stars because there is no on/off switch. That I find very inconvenient. I would also like it if the cooking plates popped off and could go in the dishwasher but as I said clean up was easy despite the plates not being removeable. The price is great I did two videos ( had to do two as iphones don't have stop/start ability) of the steak cooking. If you search for dash mini griddle they should come up so you can see it in action. I find videos very helpful so hope these two are. Highly recommend if this fits your lifestyle and as one reviewer commented you could just skip it in your bag and take to the office or hotel room it's that tiny!

Easy to use griddle
This griddle has made my life so much simpler for breakfast. I put one egg in the bottom of it and add in cheese or chopped peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc., and it makes a perfect, round omelette in a couple of minutes. It's easy to clean and use again the next day. I also make grilled cheese sandwiches in it. I have not tried to make anything like cookies in it and not sure how it would work if I put cookie dough in it.

Needs removable plates for cleaning and better cord storage.
It's not as important for the waffle maker, but the griddle needs to have removable plates. If you use it to make fried eggs, it becomes increasingly harder to clean, particularly around the edges and at the point where the metal bends. You're not supposed to submerge it because of the interior wiring, so the instructions say to wipe it with a soft wet cloth, which is not very effective. You can buy a different version of the griddle with removable plates, but that one forces you to also buy multiple other plates, which defeats the point of having something so small for easy storage. It would be better if there was an option with only those two removable plates, so you can just take them off, wash them by hand and then put them back on. It also needs a better way to store the cable. The base has a little area to wrap the cable around, but if you wrap the cable all the way around it, the plug ends up underneath the griddle, keeping it from sitting straight. If you leave it unwrapped enough so that it will sit flat, you have several inches of cable still hanging loose. There's also no way to secure it when you wrap it, unless you opt for having the griddle sitting crooked on top of the plug, so the cable just comes unwound anyway. If you pick it up while cleaning the counters, the cable just falls completely loose. The small size is convenient if you have limited counter space and are living by yourself. It cooks fried eggs through in about a minute, and it doesn't take long to preheat. I've also used it to toast English muffins and bagels, albeit half at a time. It can be frustrating to deal with because of the cord and cleaning issues, though. You may want to invest in some hook and loop cable ties or keep the twisty ties handy for the cord. Also be prepared to not be able to clean it completely, unless you want to scrape the edges with a toothpick.
