NewAge Products 50107 Bold 3.0 Series Extra Wide Locker, Gray

After assembly, I give it 4 stars for quality. I give the assembly and instructions 2 stars. The locker came unassembled. The assemble was technically simple, but physically demanding. While the assembly instructions were clear, the pictures were poor. It was easy to assemble the parts wrong, yet very very difficult to correct your mistakes. I would recommend 2 people for the assembly. Expect to spend a couple of hours on the assembly.

I have improved my product rating for this product from 1 to 4 stars.I bought this unit as an addition to the 50102 Bamboo 10 piece storage set. The 50107 does not come fully assembled, which was a surprise. It was shipped in a long "flat pack." The long flat pack was not protected by a skid and so some of the pieces (shelves) were bent in a slight arc from the center during shipping and handling. Despite this, the unit (top, sides, bottom) assembled well per the instructions. I did have a problem with the doors before the cabinet was bolted to the wall. After assembly, several times when I opened the doors they dislodged without warning from the frame and fell off almost damaging adjacent cabinets and the doors themselves. The cabinet doors are quite wide and the sides of the cabinet frame seem to flex a bit, releasing the door hinge latches. Once the cabinet was fully bolted to the wall and the shelves are installed, the frame has more rigidity.

So, plain and simple. You’re going to be doing some metal work. The shippers dented and dinged the hell out of it and I needed a rubber mallet to get stuff to set in the right slots. The directions, can be tricky if you aren’t a somewhat decent handyman. I was able to do this on my own but I’m sure it would of been easier with someone else. Long story short, it’s a damn solid cabinet. But be prepared to earn it.

This is just an awesome brand. Durable, light weight, nice looking storage cabinets. SO worth the money. You do need a second person to help put this together, but it's really easy! For any little dents from shipping, just take a cloth and hammer and tap at it a bit and it smooths out. But mine came in great condition. So if anyone has problems with that, it's the shipping people handling large items carelessly. These cabinets will last a life time and hold so much! Both in weight and volume. Best purchase. An organizers dream to cleaning up storage, gear, tools etc.

First - one of the boxes was received damaged a couple of dents were in the front door of that package. One of the back panels did not match the instructions AND was different than what was included in the 2nd cabinet package that was ordered.Secondly - diagrams in the instruction did not match the pieces in the package. This took 2 people 5 hours to assemble with most of the time being spent on the first cabinet that we ended up fudging to get it together. The second cabinets parts matched closer to the diagrams (key word “closer” not exact).Thirdly - I would not order these again. Very disappointed in the product for the price I paid.

These large cabinets are very poor. The pieces don’t fit. We have had two of them, and both don’t fit. We have other NewAge Products, which fit well - not this size though. Avoid it.

Due to size, product arrived unassembled. Assembly took longer than expected and didn't go together easily. When trying to assemble top with sides and back, parts didn't fit together perfectly and needed to separate. Impossible to get apart. After a 4 hour struggle, finally finished. Next time I'll get a smaller size that comes preassembled.

Difficult to assemble. Directions were reversed. Drawing showed A on left & B on right. After several attempts to put the parts together discovered the problem. Once completed, look good.

The packaging of the New Age product was exceptional. It probably took me longer to open up the packaging than to assemble the cabinet. Very easy assembly which only took a few minutes.To match my existing red New Age cabinets, I eventually had to prime then paint the grey doors red since nobody had the matching red powder coating..
