Very cool colors. Changes at different angles. Unique and cool effect.
I got this filament based on a post in a 3D printer forum. I have never used FlashForge filament before but I know of the brand. (mostly as a printer company that also makes filament) The Flash Forge Burnt Titanium color has a bit of a following on the forum I was reading though. I had to try it out. It printed fairly easily but I ended up lowing my bed temp from 60 to 55 to get better results. My prints were sticking originally but then coming loose occasionally. (enclosed printer which was probably getting too hot inside) I printed with a nozzle temp of 230 which could be too high. (220 might have been better at high speed) I wanted the most shine out of the filament and higher temps generally give you more shine. My next print will be at a lower nozzle temp. If it looks the same visually, I will print at a lower temp from now on. The models I printed look great. Everyone I have shown them to likes the colors. You can see black, green and a shade of blue depending on lighting conditions and the angle you look at it. (a combination of both) I attempted to photograph a model and I could get it to show multiple colors but it does not look as cool in the picture as it does in person. For some reason, the photos show the model in a single color for the most part. If there isn't enough light, it sort of looks like light black. Tough stuff to photograph. This is not a tri color filament in the normal sense. It is like a mostly black, glitter like filament with the three colors showing at different angles. (at least that is what I think it is) I do not claim to know exactly how it does this. I like trying new types of filament especially filaments that give a print a unique look. This definitely checks all of the boxes. I will likely be ordering more of this at some point. Other than vases, reptiles and dragons, I am not sure what else I will print with this. It isn't for every model but when it works, it really works.

Clean prints and cool color
Was great filament. Yielded very clean prints.

Beautiful, rich, dynamic color, good strength, non-clogging.
Really beautiful filament, prints in a beautiful dynamic deep blue color that glitters a little and changes in subtle ways depending on the angle of the light. Filament doesn't clog, and only cracked once when left out on my desk for about two weeks during a humid spell in the summer (and only the stretched out section on the end cracked - keep your filament dry folks!). Photos don't do this filament justice, but see them anyway :) Good stuff, good strength, reasonable price.

I forgot how good it was...
About six or eight years ago, I began my foray into 3D printing with a new Flashforge Finder 3D printer. To keep the printer running clean, I stuck with Flashforge's filament for a short time, until curiosity of other brands and irritation at Flashforge's higher prices made me try other brands. I never bought another spool of Flashforge's filament and never really looked back. During summer Prime Day this year (2022), this filament went on sale. Flashforge had sent me a promotional email about this filament and two other new filaments, but I'd largely disregarded it. My curiosity, compounded by a friend's urging to buy a spool to try it (I was printing various parts for said friend's hobby at the time), made me buy a few spools of this. I've used most of one up, and I am impressed! Over the years, I've stuck with 3D Solutech as my brand of choice but have had good experience with others such as eSun, YOYI, and Hatchbox to name a few. I've got four 3D printers: A Flashforge Creator Pro, a JGAurora A5S, an Artillery Sidewinder X1, and a BIBO that's on its last legs. I've run this filament on the A5S, the Creator Pro, and the Sidewinder X1. The A5S has a 0.8 mm nozzle and the X1 has a 1.0 mm nozzle. The A5S has seen the most runtime of my current farm of printers so as expected, this filament ran fine. The filament also ran fine on the Creator Pro. Lately, I've been trying to print larger objects on the X1 at 0.100 mm layer heights. This requires frequent slicer profile tuning from spool to spool of filament. And that is where this filament thoroughly impressed me! I have not had to toy with slicer settings at all, and every single print I've ran with this filament on the X1 has turned out beautifully! The sparkly appearance of the filament further reduces the appearance of layer lines, too! I've been airbrushing a lot of my prints lately, but I am not going to paint any of the prints I've made with this filament; It just looks too good to cover up! But I digress. Normally, I try to specify certain settings in my reviews such as nozzle temp, print speed, etc. but that's the beauty of this filament, and the main nuance I'm highlighting in my story above: I have never had to dial this filament in! Just use general PLA settings in your slicer, and I bet you'll get excellent prints like I've been getting! And that's what brings me back to my review title: Back when I only bought Flashforge's filament, I never had issues, and I only ever used preset slicer settings. So, I guess this filament falls into the old saying "You get what you pay for." Yeah, it'll cost more, but this filament is pointedly more stable than any other brand I've used thus far, and that includes my main go-to brand! While I don't intend on only getting Flashforge's filament from here on out, I'll definitely be getting more of this filament for prints that will be tricky to pull off!

Flawless Performance with My AD5X – FLASHFORGE Never Disappoints
I’ve become a huge fan of FLASHFORGE products, and this PLA filament is another reason why. I run a FLASHFORGE AD5X, and I can honestly say I’ve yet to have a single issue — not with the printer and not with this filament. That kind of consistency is rare in the 3D printing world, especially if you print regularly like I do. The matte green color looks fantastic in person. It gives prints a clean, premium finish and does a great job of hiding layer lines compared to glossy PLA. The diameter consistency (±0.02mm) really shows in the print quality — smooth extrusion, solid layer adhesion, and predictable results every time. I’ve had zero clogging, zero feeding issues, and no tangling straight out of the box. It just works. Once you dial in your settings, it runs reliably without constant tweaking. Between the AD5X and FLASHFORGE filament, everything has been dependable and stress-free. In a hobby where troubleshooting can take more time than printing, that reliability makes a big difference. Highly recommend this filament — especially if you’re running a FLASHFORGE printer. I’ll definitely keep buying it.

The adhesion is tricky sometimes you need to find a best temperature. Otherwise is good.

It produces a good quality print. Compare to the previous brand that I’m using. This one is by far the best filament that I have used.
