Switching from my ritual morning coffee to Ahmad Tea's Blackcurrant Burst has completely redefined my daily routine. What a pleasant surprise! I had ordered and enjoyed, Twinings Black Current Tea Bags. They had been a good price, for 120 bags, in six boxes. So I checked, And they had gone up,ten dollars! Ten! That, to me, seemed like a steep hike. I saw that there were quite a few different brands, of Black Current Tea bags. I studied and found that Ahmed had a similar deal to Twinings for ten dollars less! The ratings were the same, so I held my breath, and tried a new tea brand. Imagine my surprise, to find, that it was, not just, as good, as Twining, but instead, much better! At least twice as good! Better flavor! Not just black tea, but Ahmed, has a black tea blend. And not just Black Current flavor, but real Black Current pieces! Great taste in a tea bag! Ahmed really surprised me!

My wife found this Ahmad Black Current tea in a discount store, and brought some home. We absolutely loved it. Then we couldn't find it any longer. I eventually (should have looked here sooner) found that Amazon had it. Wonderful tea, with a good flavor and amazing aroma.

The tea is great but the bags give off a weird taste. I use a tea strainer after removing the tea from the bags. Good tea otherwise.

I first discovered Ahmad teas at a little market near me and fell in love. The apricot is absolutely my favorite. You know the saying, "all the tea in China"? Well, that's what my kitchen looks like right now. My husband promised that if I kept him in teas he'd stop drinking those awful Monster energy drinks (we're both over 40 and he has digestive issues, so it's time to put those down) and so far it seems to be working. Ahmad teas are always fresh-seriously, I've never gotten an "off" box-and they're always delicious. And the 6 box deal is a steal as to what you'd pay at the market. I love the fact that I can order here and not have to go to the market JUST for teas. I'd encourage you to try the whole range of their teas. My personal favorites are apricot, blackcurant, peach and passionflower and raspberry. Drinken hot they're delicious with honey but they make excellent cold tea as well. Ahmad Early Grey 100 pack contained a free sample of their Blackcurrant Burst and now I ordered it, too, by this lot of 6-by-20. Same goes with their Mango Magic. I rotate between the three, depending on my mood. Absolutely delicious.

Each tea bag is individually packed, 20 in a box and half a dozen boxes for this. I used to enjoy blackcurrant tea from Lipton and when I was unable to find it in supermarkets, I switched to Dilmah, which was again unavailable after a while too. My supply of blackcurrant is limited, but I do remember my tastes. Lipton was better than Dilmah but this from Ahmad takes the top spot. The fragrance beats the coffee I made every morning and make a very satisfied night after dinner. I have not tasted any bitterness and would recommend Lotus Biscoff Caramelised Sandwich Biscuits to go with this without adding sugar to the tea. The biscuits brings out the sweetness in the tea, and vice versa like wine and cheese.

I love this tea; it truly bursts with delicious blackcurrant flavour from the fruit pieces.

The black tea and blackcurrant flavour really compliment each other without one emerging as dominant. A very refreshing blend.
