I never knew that with my older apartment dishwasher, i would be better off using powder detergent. Ever since I learned this, i have been using this Cascade powder & it works great. Plus it is much much cheaper this way! My mom always swore by Cascade and now I understand that mother was always right. Nothing else is as good. So if you have an older dishwasher, this stuff works! I really am glad that I saw an article telling me to switch to powder & thank goodness Cascade still makes it.

The box is of the right size for me to pour a right amount. I can control the amount of powder for a light or heavy load, can use less than having to use a pod size regardless of the load. It is of same cleaning power as pod. Pod is a great waste, even for a full load, I use only about 1/3 of the pod and always get crisp clean dishes out. I recommend to all my friends not to use pod, waste of money and not green.

Product is great but box was dented, torn, and leaking into the plastic wrapping (which also was a bit punctured). Had to pour it into an old ice cream bucket for storage.

I love Cascade and I always forget the rinse aid at the store. This is a no brainer. Buy this AND the cascade rinse aid online. I typically run the dishwasher once a day ... we are coming up on two months and I've prob got at least another 2 months left. Will buy again. This with rinse aid makes my dishes clean and fog free! Love it! I'm a huge fan of powder. If your machine doesn't heat up enough sometimes the packets won't melt. We live in a old rental but with a new washer. I'm the same with laundry - powder or liquid - no pods. Sometimes the basics work best.

This is one of the best dishwashing detergent powder I have ever used. I bought this on a trial basis since one of my friends suggested how good it worked and makes stainless dish cleaning. I was amazed after running the dish cycle since the dishes looked sparkling clean. I have tried few other products where I had to manually clean few of the heavy stain dishes manually even after running them on dish washer. But this one stands out. Very happy with the product.
