Great quality and easy to install
This was super easy to install. The water truly tastes great now as well as coffee. It’s noiseless with plenty of fresh clean water to accommodate a family of five. Express Water has made this very easy to install. 3 month update: working flawlessly. Still the best tasting water in town. All we drink now is water and coffee or tea made with this water

Great Taste, UV For Well Water Safety
Reviews are great. My nephew has had it for years and highly recommended it. I looked at several different RO systems and got this 100 Gallons Per Day reverse osmosis system with UV filter. Whole house was too expensive and too hard on my septic tank. This installed fairly easily. The flushing procedure was lengthy, but now we have worry free drinking water for cooking, coffee, ice, and pets. Our well water is high in iron with a bad taste and there is always a concern for bacteria with well water. This Express water UV reverse osmosis system gives us great tasting water with the security of a UV filter to kill bacteria. The UV filter leaked badly on startup. I had to remove the quartz tube and reposition the Oring which stopped the leaked. The tank leaked from the top fitting until I tightened it a little more until the leak stopped. The 3 big filters on the bottom all leaked. It said the O rings were pretreated with food grade silicone lube, so I didn't add any. If I had to do it again I would put a film of food grade lube to ensure a good seal. I had to tighten all 3 large filters a lot to stop the leaking. The spigot handle was loose and dripped on the counter, but after a few days it tightened up and stopped leaking. I guess the internals needed to swell up with water and make it tight. Overall we are very happy and excited about this system. It will pay for itself in 5 months for the cost of water we were buying to drink.

A bit bulky but easy to install and use
This is the 11-stage RO filter setup with UV sterilization and alkaline remineralization stages. Everything is pre-packaged in a way to ease installation but kind of a pain if you're planning to add a permeate pump or branch out the lines before/after the remineralization stage (to get regular RO water for things like a coffee maker or other cooking needs while getting mineralized water for drinking). Overall, while it's assembled rather well, it's still quite bulky. I was surprised that the 4-gal tank isn't the most imposing component. The 3-stage primary filters at the bottom of the kit dominate the space. The RO, UV, ALK, and PAC units mounted horizontally on top are quite a bit smaller. That said, the entire kit will fit in the cabinet under a common double sink under the one WITHOUT a garbage disposal. If you have a garbage disposal under one sink, space will be tight (at best) on that side so plan to install on the opposite side. I'm pretty bad at plumbing but installation was actually rather easy thanks to most of the work already being done with the 1/4" tubing and quick-connect fittings. It took me MAYBE 90 minutes start-to-finish (plus the fill/flush process afterwards). The hardest part was connecting the tubing to the included faucet which, in hindsight I could have made easier by fishing the tube up through the retention nut, the countertop, the top washer then onto the faucet stem before securing the faucet to the countertop. Instead of the included drain "saddle" I opted for a "Y" tube that fits inline with my dishwasher drain into my garbage disposal - no cutting required. I opted to add a permeate pump, as well. That requires some re-routing of some of the pre-installed tubes but isn't all that complicated once you understand how it works and where each tube comes from and goes to. Overall, that reduces the wastewater by a significant amount (sorry - I don't have before/after stats). It also reduces the total fill time from 2-3 hours to about 35 minutes and makes flushing/priming new filters a LOT quicker. I did have one faulty connection in the system that needed to be fixed and it was one of the factory-installed ones. The "T" that feeds the PAC (the final filter) and the tank wasn't seated correctly and leaked straight away. I simply removed the tube, re-cut the end, and reinstalled it - job done! No leaks of any kind after that. I also opted to NOT physically mount the unit inside the cabinet. I know filter changes are going to be a pain so I simply left it sitting on the bottom of the cabinet with enough slack in the tubes to remove it to the floor in front of the cabinet. From there, I can disconnect all my tubes that go back under the sink and re-work the filters up on the counter or in the sink, as needed. The municipal water supply where I live is actually already pretty good. I just wanted better tasting water. We've used a drip-type filter for a few years and it does an okay job but I'm still finding a slightly "off" taste occasionally. This RO system TOTALLY removes any hint of weird odors/tastes and is better than many bottled waters I've had. Fiji is as close as it gets. Get yourself a glass pitcher, fill it regularly, and keep it chilled in the fridge. OR get a "T" tap off the feed to the RO faucet and feed it into your in-fridge water supply for the best ice and water you'll ever taste.

Year end review
I didn’t post a review when I first bought it, I’ve waited a year and here are my thoughts 1. Filtration: does everything it says it does and does it well. This was a gift to my in laws and they didn’t change any filter for a year. DO NOT FORGET TO CHANGE THE FILTERS. See my pictures. 2. Taste: like the fountain of youth. The water is almost sweet and tastes better than purified water. 3. Ease of set up: not the easiest, but also not too difficult if you’re mildly competent. The documentation they give you is very extensive. Read it front to back before you even start unwrapping everything else. The hoses are color coded so you’d have to be thick in the head to mess that part up. The only part that may give you trouble is drilling into your drain pipe and counter top of you do not already have a hole for a faucet. 4. Changing filters: easy. Took me less than an hour. 5. Noise: can make noise due to air on first set up but it goes away after flushing. 6. UV bulb. It gets hot, like others have said. Honestly, it’s my only regret. We’re on city water and frankly, unless you have a very specific need for it, you probably don’t need it. Also, unless you’re an electrician or have any handyman skills, you have to find a way to route power to the bulb that doesn’t require unplugging your garbage disposal. I wish there was an easier solution but it is what it is. What’s great is that you can buy the one without the UV, and if you find yourself needing it, you can buy it separately and add it on. 7. Size: Fits perfectly under the sink with plenty of room to spare. Make sure you layout the filter and measure the hoses before you start just cutting and connecting 8. Leaks: no faulty fittings or leaks. Any leaks I did find were my fault for not connecting the hose properly or wrapping enough plumbers tape. I caught it on initial set up and it hasn’t leaked at all in the past year. Even still, it has a leak detection fail safe which I tested and works perfectly. Conclusion: 9.5/10, definitely recommend. I bought 2 and both have held up really well. You probably don’t need the UV, but to each their own.

Good system-like it so far
I really would love to give this 5 stars however I’m a little disappointed with the setup startup process. It takes 5 full tanks of water to fully clean out the system and the water is suitable for drinking. We are on a well so this was a waste of water AND electricity to run the well pump as it took a full day to complete the process. I think they (express water) should improve on this! The good side is that it was easy to install. I did it myself I a couple hours. Hardest part was getting the screws for the mounts in the right place. Another thing they could improve one is including a diagram of the screw holes you can stick to the side of the cabinet then make your holes. Now I have about 6 unwanted holes! And I’m not super strong and it’s an awkward position under the sink... The install of the tubes is tricky as you absolutely need to make sure they go in all the way into the fittings or you will have leaks at startup. You can feel when the tube is in place. You’ll know it when you feel it. These are 1/4” tubes so if you’re replacing a system with 3/8” existing you’ll need extra fittings, my husband picked me up a few at Home Depot. I kept my incoming line as it already had a shut off valve and I kept my out going as it already had a T for the ice maker and I liked my current faucet rather then the cheap looking faucet they sent with they system. This could also be improved upon. All together great system, water tastes great. Could use some improvements but that doesn’t effect the overall usage just would make things nicer.

Works fine, takes awhile to install and startup cycles for water filters
Overall very please with this product's quality and function. For decades used water from refrigerator filter, but found out it didn't screen sodium (which contributes to artery hardening and high blood pressure) so sought alternative which only is Reverse Osmosis, as we use a salt water softener. The instructions are fairly simple and most diagrams are clear and color coded tubes so makes for ease but not 100% error-free install as some dependency on text interpretation did require a tad of rework. Plus there is 'just enough' filter tubing for a basic, very near to water supply and counter install so if you have an unusual configuration may need to buy additional hose as my message to the manufacturer asking for more was ignored/unfilled. This unit is fairly tall, so I had to rearrange the filters atop and tie them together with nylon ties to fit under the sink - beware!!!!! especially if you have a deep sink well as cabinet height clearnace could be restricted. There's not much options for the filter module relocation so if you can move them around to be overall lower height well it's a product return for you. This aspect disappointed me and took a bit of ingenuity to work around that most customers would not want to contend with. As for the product install, did have some human error with tubing install so had a leak or two but once found easy to remedy - but again, if tubes supplied are too short and you stress out the plug-in connections - oops water water everywhere. I also bought the 3-year (?) filters product so I don't have to worry too much about manufacturery supply. I bought a water test kist and ALL the readings were in compliance and happy to say most (but I think one) were ZERO reading. BTW, we are on well water, and mentioned we use a salt water softener and a whole house inline sediment filter. The manufacturer did reply about the drainage tube install location/alternative as you do need to drill a hole into an existing drain pipe AT THE PROPER LOCATION which is probably the most stressful aspect aboutg the install. Tapping into the existing water supply using an adapter (rather than old fashioned screw-in puncture tap) was convenient and trouble free. Would buy again, but probably buy some extra tubing for install convenience.

Excellent product. No after taste. Clean water. Kills germs/bacterias/virus
this filter is pretty amazing. It is so good at removing hard water that the water boiler i use does not need to be cleaned even after months of use (no sediments at the bottom). The water has no chlorine taste. The PH is higher than tap water (I have the meter) at 8-8.5PH and the dissolved solids is very low (also have a meter) compared to bottled water and tap water. Because it has an internal bladder that hold i believe 1 gallon of water, you can run out of tap water and still able to drink water from the reservoir. It is very well designed with great quality materials. The UV light kills any remaining germs/bacterias/virus in the water. This is an investment in your health.

Tastes better
Great product. Water is safe and tastes better. Connecting was challenging. I end up inviting specialist for doing the work. Not too much space to cover, and gives really nice power to the water flow.

Excelente opción
Excelente producto.
