My 13 year old son loves these. He has been taping to prevent shin guard slip but quickly grew tired of tape. He did his own research and decided this is what he wanted. We had an 8 game tournament just after receiving these and had no slippage. I never once saw him fussing with his shin guards, which is a rarity, especially since he plays the entire game and does't get subbed. Just speaks to the quality of these guard stays.

The Velcro is very strong and snug
The Velcro is very strong and holds on good during a game and as I play. I thought the strap would come undone but it hasn't happened to me yet. It feels a little snug at first but tight is good when it comes to holding up shin guards. This is a great item and if you buy it your making a great purchase.

big enough for size 4 woman, but that's pushing it
I am a relatively small woman at a pants/dress size 4. These stays fit over my shin guards and my legs but I have to pull them tight just to make the velcro reach. I do not think these are large enough for medium to large men, unless they like wearing the stays below the guards. I do not like this method, as I have found the guards slip down over top of the stays within the sock, but I have seen other people wear it like that so it would work for them.

Been using these straps since highschool and they can’t be beat
I primarily use pre wrap to keep my socks and shin guards from slipping down but these do a great job as an extra level of security to prevent slipping.The negatives of theses are if you have a loose sock or you rely on them as the only thing to keep up your shin guard you will be adjusting all game. They have a tendency to slip down or under the shin guard which will require you to readjust and restrap.For practice equipment you can save some money on pre wrap because this will be enough for most sessions.

These are ridiculous. They’re so small and tight even my 6 year old can’t wear them. Avoid.

Fasce elastiche reggi parastinchi
Fasce reggi parastinchi per chi come me non sopporta l'elastico sul polpaccio. Molto pratiche e veloci da mettere e togliere (applicate appena sopra la caviglia non fanno scendere il parastinco all'interno del calzettone), essendo elastiche e provviste di velcro la chiusura è regolabile e molto tenace. Il prodotto è ben rifinito (come tutti quelli Nike di alta gamma): i materiali sono ottimi (elastico fitto e velcro molto robusto). Un investimento che si ripaga in un mese di attività (un rotolo di nastro adesivo mi durava sì e no un mesetto): lo consiglio a chi come me usa i parastinchi piccoli senza elastico da indossare sotto i calzettoni.ATTENZIONE le fasce forniscono un supporto eccellente ma solo per reggere i calzettoni/parastinchi! Infatti, pur avendo una composizione semi-rigida non forniscono alcuna protezione delle articolazioni; inoltre la fitta maglia dell'elastico li rende inutilizzabili come polsini asciuga sudore.
