What is the difference between this 1157 & the Silverstar 1157 besides the price?

The Silverstar 1157 filament uses more current, burns brighter, burns out faster, needing replacement more often. Rather than all air, there is a non-oxidizing gas in the bulb. There is a special coating on the bulb that helps achieve brighter light. Good for older people who have reduced night vision, like me. Guy Hammer, PE

The SYLVANIA 1157 and the SYLVANIA 1157 LL function the same. However, the 1157 offers 1200 life hours while the 1157 LL offers 2000 life hours.
