How does it attach to the walker/wheelchair/rollator? Velcro? Clamp? And what size walker leg will it fit?

It attaches to the walker / wheelchair by a rubber strap. It can easily fit just about any size "tubing". It is pretty cool. I have it attached to my wheelchair. The only improvement I would make would be to lock the position. You can rotate the hooks 360 degrees, but sometimes you want it to not rotate.

Can the walker be closed while it is attached

Great question! Yes, depending on where the Dual Hooks are positioned on the walker they will be able to stay attached even when the walker is closed. It attaches with a strap that isn't too thick to be in the way, but the hooks themselves may prohibit the walker from closing if they are in the way of a closing/folding point.

Can you secure an umbrella to a wheelchair with these?

Great question! We have not officially tested this yet. The challenge might be the umbrella isn't held high enough from where it is strapped to the wheelchair. The hooks with the front strap would secure the umbrella, but might not be strong enough to withstand the weight and wind resistance the umbrella would encounter.

If it rotates and there is no way to lock the position, what keeps it from rotating in use and having items fall off?

Great question! There are small plastic "bumps" between the two pieces that rotate so it takes some weight or force to rotate it. If hanging a bag, then the gravity will pull down and the hooks won't rotate unless you're trying to use them upside down or to the side. For holding a cane, the key will be finding a center of gravity that won't cause it to turn, but there is also an extra strap on the front that can help hold the cane in place even if the hooks get rotated.
