The Collar Support Lift System for Men's or Women's Dress Shirts

I have to wear a suit and dress shirt for work each day, but I never wear a tie. The business casual look works for me, but the lazy or relaxed collar can ruin an entire look. I’ve tried everything from collar stays to magnets and each product seemed to help, but not alleviate the problem of a relaxed collar. I found this product at a boutique shop and the guy sold it to me for $40. I knew it was overpriced and didn’t think it would work, it I purchased it because of the great deal he gave me on my suits. When putting it on, it was a little uncomfortable and stiff. That feeling passed in less than two minutes and I quickly didn’t “feel” it anymore than the shirt around my neck. For over 7 months I wore the product almost every day and I received compliments on how crisp my collar looked. Everyone that I allowed to try it purchased one right away and there are literally dozens of my friends that use this every day after work. Unfortunately, I have the habit of taking off my shirt before removing the perky collar and mine broke in half one day. The product is solidly built, but definitely not indestructible. I feel like if I handled it with more care, I would still be using my original one. Regardless, I immediately purchased two more and now I get to leave a review and steer anyone who takes their tie off for an extended period of time towards this great product. I assume the size would make it difficult to support smaller shirts and women or children’s sizes, but any regular sized male shirt would be incomplete without this product. A must buy for every male business closet.

Wasn't sure about spending $25 for this product but it was only $5 more than the other one best selling one. Surprising, it does exactly what it is supposed to - keep your collar up and looking great. I have a couple of shirts that, admittedly, don't fit very well anymore. The neck is too small so I was curious if this product would keep me from donating them to Goodwill. It works even better than expected.

works as advertised on dress shirts, not sure how it would look on a polo type of shirt but bought it for dress shirts. Might be a little high on some collar types.

Works as expected! When it got delivered, my girlfriend asked why I paid this much "for a headband", but it does exactly what I wanted it to do! The cardboard case is nice too for traveling with it in my luggage.

While I was initially excited to try the Perky Collar based on the product description, unfortunately it did not work as advertised for me. The rigid plastic piece was far too large for many of my more casual collared shirts - sticking out visibly beyond the collar points. I tried trimming it down to fit those shirts better, but then it became too small for my other shirts, leaving the front of the collar unsupported. The "one size fits all" design just doesn't allow for adjustability to properly fit different collar styles and shirt fabrics. Instead of the advertised "professional, stylish" look, the ill-fitting Perky Collar created an uneven, droopy appearance on several of my shirts. I appreciate the aim of creating an easy collar lift, but the execution missed the mark for my wardrobe. I would suggest developing a more adjustable product or offering multiple sizes to truly work for different types of collared shirts. I cannot recommend the Perky Collar in its current design, and will be looking for other collar support systems that allow more customization.

I use this for dress shirts and polos and the crisp, classic look makes all of my shirts look like they’re freshly dry-cleaned and ready for show time. I love this product!
