I have purchased several of these. I originally bought 2 of these for some fans that didn't have remotes. I get hot and cold off and on through the night (hot flashes are...fun lol) and getting in/out of bed all the time was becoming miserable. My mother had the same issue so I bought one for her and one for me, they work great and given she is elderly and not always good with remotes, this was simple and easy for her to use. I bought another one later for a light I purchased that did not have an on/off switch (you were supposed to just unplug it if you wanted to turn it off). This worked great for that as well. Battery life has been GREAT. As mentioned, I use this for a fan, my hot flashes have been a bear lol, I cycle every 15 min. from hot to freezing all through the night so about every 15-20 min. through the night i am turning the fan off and on, I have had this for months doing that, and still have not had to replace the battery in the remote. My mother lives with me so I was worried having 3 of these would interfere with each other and using one remote might accidentally turn on one of the other units, but that has not happened at all. The remote only turns on the unit it came with. Very happy with these! Have many uses especially for disabled or elderly or....hot flashes lol

My folks are elderly and both are hearing impaired. I bought two of these sets. You can program both receivers to a single remote switch. We have a lamp plugged into a receiver in the garage and a lamp plugged into a receiver in the bedroom. If my elderly mom needs my dad when he's in the garage working or in the middle of the night sleeping in his room, my mom can just hit the switch on the remote on and off and the lamps will go on and off telling my dad she needs him. So simple but it works perfectly!

I found that out when the item (and its later replacement) began to malfunction after a while, turning itself off at seemingly random times. Their customer support is excellent: They replaced the first item and were eventually able to figure out that the problem arose from using the product with the fridge. As they put it, the switch "is designed for resistive loads like lamps, small kitchen appliances, or electronic devices." It's not the amperage that was the problem; it was the cycling on of the fridge motor. You may ask, Who needs one of these for a fridge???? I do, because I do a lot of audio recording and I want to turn off the fridge while recording, then turn it back on afterward. Well, this switch isn't the answer. I'll need to use a manual switch. In any case, I would definitely buy from these folks again if I needed one of their products. Excellent product (for the right application) and excellent customer service. Well done, Dewenwils!

I've added almost a hundred IOT devices to a dedicated wireless access point and while it's mostly stable, it occassionally requires a reboot. I wanted a way to power cycle the AP without going to the network closet and couldn't use a smart plug (since the reason for a reboot is network instability). This RF controlled switch does the trick, but lost a star for always being off after loss of power. I wish that were selectable, as now if we have a power outage the network is down until I click to turn power back on. The power button on the plug itself is convenient if I'm already in the network closet.

Exactly what I needed. Works as expected, easy to install and to use. I have one of my floor lamps in my living room plugged into this outlet/switch. This outlet has an on/off button on it which I lay on a little table next to my lamp, and can reach it from my desk, where I spend most of my time. I love the remote, and keep it in my kitchen-very handy to turn on this lamp in my living room, and the light carries to the hall and kitchen of my apartment too. Very handy! Considering buying one for my other two lamps as well, just haven't decided yet.

I wanted to hang two 48 inch LED shoplights over my workbench which is in a garage with a high ceiling. The walls of the garage are finished and putting in a switch would have been a difficult task. Instead I mounted the lights with hooks on the ceiling and plugged them into an outlet on the ceiling for the garage door opener and used this remote to turn them on and off. It works perfectly and was an easy solution.

Set this up to use for our outdoor Christmas lights, so I don't have to plug/unplug the lights every day. Terrific little unit works great. East to use. No setting up required. Just plug in the power unit, and the remote is already paired the the unit. Everything worked good right out of the box.

Je voulais modifier la prise murale et installer une sortie 120 volt avec un interrupteur ce qui me demandait un travail d'environ 1 heure et je n'aurais eu qu'une seule prise avec ce produit j'ai pris 30 seconde et j'ai quand même 2 sorties de plus, si je le désire, je peux contrôler à distance cette prise. Qu'elle merveille et de plus ça m'a couté moins cher. Bravo à AMAZON d'offrir des produits à la fois utiles et pas dispendieux. Merci.
