New favorite gummies
A coworker of mine used to live in Sweden; I mentioned that I preferred salty flavors over sweet and he asked if I ever tried this silty Swedish candy, I was immediately intrigued and ordered these. I figured if I didn't like them, at least the skulls are cute. My only problem now is that they're my new favorite candy and it's costly to ship overseas! I can see how it would be an acquired taste as you'd expect sweet or sour but never salty with a gummie; it pairs interestingly with the anise flavor and the texture is slightly tough. It's the perfect candy!

If you like Swedish salted licorice, then go for it. Otherwise, keep scrolling.
Blech. These taste terrible. But if you are Swedish, and/or like licorice with ammonia-tasting salt on it, then you've won the jackpot.

very good, maybe a bit too salty but an acquired taste for sure

Strong but very good
These were delicious, if you like a salty licorice. Like the salty herring, but a bit stronger and not as sweet. I’ll definitely get again. Not for the newbies, might be too powerful for them.

Yuk!
I ordered 2 bags each of the black salted and the half raspberry/black licorice. I got 4 bags of black salted licorice. I love black licorice and REALLY wanted to love this but it was AWFUL. I found it to be inedible. It was more than just too salty. It was like I had been swimming in the ocean, got seawater down my throat and up my nose and then the burn and salty taste didn’t go away for what seemed like an eternity. Really wished/wanted to try the raspberry black licorice ones, but I am now hesitant to re-purchase in case I get more of the salty black licorice by accident. No returns accepted but I did get some help from an Amazon rep.

Whew! These were so salty if you love that type of thing, you ha e found the place!
These have the wonderful old school black licorice taste you are craving with a blast of saltiness to wash it down with. I wasn't prepared for the small writing where it said, "salt". I was new to them. You should have seen my face. Haha! I only gave 3 stars because they definitely aren't my favorite Bubs. If they were just black licorice, they would have been 5 stars for sure! Keep making Bubs we love them! I would love to see like a Dr Pepper flavor, or peanut butter and banana mix, chocolate mint, coffee, espresso... I am just throwing these ideas out there because I am having fun. Your candies are just my most favorite thing ever!

Definitely not for everyone
So, I’ve been on a black licorice kick lately. My wife brought me back some salted licorice from Seattle, and I’ve since been on an Amazon mission to find the best. I would say this is it, but the price for the quantity is a bit high, so I’ll have to savor these. Also, I knew what I was getting into, but if you’re just looking for fancy black licorice, this ain’t it. From what almost everyone I’ve offered one to, this is the most vile thing on the earth. I, however, love it. It’s hard to describe, but kind of like if you soaked traditional licorice in a mixture of bleach and table salt. I know that’s probably not a selling point to most, but I’m here for it. I won’t purchase these regularly because of the price, but I’ll probably splurge two or three times a year. Cheers!
