Are the bands too long to do Pull ups at home inserted in the door?

No.. not At All, My Daughter using them for her training at home, She’s A Personal Trainer, theirs Great .. She’s loves Them, & u could take them them With you Anywhere,

I purchased the 4-band pack. the medium band came with an unusable flaw. how would i replace the single band?

Contact the seller and see if they will send a replacement based on the product being defective. If that doesn’t work you may have to contact Amazon and file a claim.

Can’t do a single pull-up. Will this train me to do them?

I'm 5'11" and 250 pounds. At one time I was able to do pull ups. I can military press 220 pounds. I cannot do one pull up. I figured with a band assist, that I've used before, I would be able to achieve pull ups again. I started out with the green wrapped around my pull up station bar and my foot in the other end; These do not work. I've tried using two of these bands to gain enough upward force to assist in doing a pull up; no help whatsoever. It seems once the bands are stretched; there's no torque on them.
