Crock-Pot Small 3.5 Quart Programmable Casserole Slow Cooker with Timer, Food Warmer, Stainless Steel (SCCPCCP350-SS)

Used this recently to keep ham BBQ warm to be served during a church luncheon. This was the perfect size for the amount of BBQ I made. I made the BBQ at home and then transferred it to this slow cooker, during the church service I placed it on the warm setting and it kept the ham warm until time to serve. I will be using it for our next luncheon or next picnic gathering. Locking lid worked very well and the ceramic part can be placed into the oven for cooking prior to placing it in the outer (heating) portion; that will be perfect for a lasagna type bake that my family likes. Nice sturdy handles on the side to carry it. Electrical cord winds up on the back for storage or transporting. I was glad I purchased this product. I have an older, round deep crock pot with a glass lid, but this is a 9 x 13 shallow baking style. The lid is glass with plastic/metal locking mechanisms to hold the lid in place (perfect when transporting). DON'T LIFT BY LID HANDLE, would not be strong enough to support for carrying - side handles for that.

Someone remarked too heavy to lift when empty. I would imagine that is user based. I am 65 years old and a weakling but can lift empty with no problems. I have had many crockpot brand (old rival) over the years. They are very reliable. I used this casserole crockpot for taking cheesy potatoes in one and sweet potato casserole in the other one to my sister's for Thanksgiving. Leaving the precious oven space for others! I made the simplest crockpost cheesy potato recipe and the potatoes were gone! Love the 9x12 casserole size! It will get lots of use! My sweet potato casserole recipe converted well to crockpot. I cooked in oven the night before. Then took out of the refrigerator 45 minutes before leaving the house. Plugged in the crockpot upon arrival on low and when we ate 2-1/2 hours later the sweet potato casserole pecan topping was perfect! No stirring. Perfect!

I bought this to add to my collection of small, medium and large crockpots. The size and shape were attractive for dinners that I don't want to squeeze into an oval shaped crockpot. The first dish I made was homemade lasagna using uncooked regular lasagna noodles. It was so easy and after 5 hours on low, I had a perfect ricotta cheese, sausage and ground beef saucy lasagna. It was a company quality dish. I am looking forward to doing my favorite chicken parmesan, garlic chicken, fajitas and more in it! It cleaned up nicely. It does stay hot a lot longer than the regular oval crockpot. After emptying it I poured in some warm soapy water and had no issues getting it cleaned up easily. If it only worked to do the lasagna and pasta dishes, it would be worth the money. I am looking forward to doing more dishes in it. I got the navy blue unit.

Absolutely love this crock pot! I've purchased 3 rectangle crock pots/slow cooker. 1st was a digital magnificent,lasted 4 uses digital went out. The second was a Megachef, kept it for emergencies, dish is great,but dial and holder(the dish) and dial felt very cheap. I was looking for a crock pot brand because I have a few, been very dependable, and this crock pot brand is the best, I'm sorry they've discontinued them! I found it by accident, when seaching for a rectangle crock pot. I nab this one from Amazon by chance,and I'm very pleased with it!

Just used this for the first time and I really love it. Until I googled “electric casserole” a couple weeks ago I didn’t know it existed. For my first use I cooked the casserole in its ceramic pot but in my oven, and used this only for transport and then plugging it in on warm for serving over a couple hours. The locking lid is great, and the rectangular shape is very stable in my car. 3.5 quarts didn’t sound like much capacity to me, but for a casserole it’s actually quite a lot. I had to increase the recipe I used by 50%, and it’s very heavy to carry when full of food. The capacity is actually perfect. It was terrific to be able to bring a casserole that didn’t go cold. Crock Pot did a great job on this. I have had a regular Cock Pot for soups, stews and chili for years, but for contributing food for a crowd there’s nothing quite like a casserole. And it allows the cook to be more creative than stews and chili. By being able to keep it warm, this device did justice to the food I made and every bit of it was eaten by mid evening. Did the last person to serve themselves think to turn its heat off? No, but soaking it over night made for easy enough clean up. Because the ceramic is so heavy to handle in the sink I put it and the lid into the dishwasher for final cleaning. Maybe I’ll eventually use this device for actual cooking all day or maybe not. It’s worth it to me just for secure transport and for keeping the casserole warm.

Received last night and used it right away. No problems with cooking or durability, so far. Cleans up nicely. I would advise to use caution when washing the crock as it is quite heavy and slippery when wet and soapy. I love the shape and size and believe it will be more versatile than my old traditional crockpot. Due to a problem in shipping, this was a replacement. Amazon's Customer Service is a dream to work with. I will post a follow up after I have used it for a while. So far, nothing in the bad reviews has come to pass. I'm quite pleased. Follow-up: Just a few days and have to return this as it has developed a crack after 3rd use. The return process is very easy. Hoping for better luck with the replacement. The replacement has no issues, so far. Please keep all your packaging as I think cracking may be an issue with this design, based on my own experience and other reviewers. Don't give up. This is a great cooker.

siempre he tendió la tradicional ovalada y esta vez decidí probar esta y esta perfecta para carnes extendidas como sirloin o rib eye o un brisket tal vez un arroz o un giso lo que si es que si quieres hacer un pollo entero no cabe pero abierto en piezas quedaría bien 👍🏻 Además funciona bien es bastante rápida

Purchased a few years ago and still loving it! It’s the perfect size for cooking ribs, lasagna and more due to the oval shape and so easy to clean. Definitely a fall and winter stay on the counter appliance! It’s cute and everyone comments on the shape (usually crockpots are tall, round and ugly). I’ve also used it as a food warmer when having a gathering.

Stylish, works incredibly well. The last crockpot I had lasted about 20 years. I broke the bed and very reluctantly ordered this one. I am so impressed. It works so well and the warm setting did just that really easy to clean and I love the surface area.
