This knife is inexpensive, handles nice, and had a pretty sharp edge out of the box. Holds an edge well. Much better than spending hundreds for a knife you need to worry about damaging, and is a chore to clean. This is an industrial knife, does the job well. Don't like it's looks? Stop using knives as an ornamental piece that just takes up counter space and put it in a drawer, blade down. Stop letting the youtube knife industry trick you into thinking you need some hand made knife from the mountains of Japan for 300 dollars. Or some bearded doof with an american flag shirt telling you that you need steel knife that twice as big as the knife needs to be. A knife that will rust if you don't meticulously hand wash it (more chores? pass). Save your money, and save your time, for higher quality ingredients, and more complex home meals. Family and friend will spend more joyous time sharing a meal then they will pretending to like you over priced knives.

These are exactly what I expect from a genuine Dexter knife.

Picked this up as an extra when I bring friends over to do a whole side of meat. Shockingly good steel for the price. I really abuse this thing and it keeps it's edge as well as any of my "nice" knives. I would 100% recommend this if you don't already have a high end boning knife. Super impressed.
