Guo Pei: Couture Fantasy

Amazingly beautiful coffee table book and conversation starter! This book has fantastic photographs with different angles of Guo Pei's work. There are so many pieces that the book feels endless. It is massively inspiring and a must-have for any art or fashion lover!

I have to say, this book captures the wonderful exhibit in San Francisco. The photos are just incredible, the art and beauty of these works are such a treasure!

This was a gift to my sister and she was completely delighted. Beautiful book.

I am usually wary of buying books like this without being able to hold the book in my hands and page through them. But I threw caution to the wind this time, believing other reviewers who loved the book. The photos are gorgeous, as, of course, are the amazing clothes. The photos are large format and there are many of them. I admit to not having read the text in depth yet. I only paged through the book and skimmed some of the descriptions and text. But from what I see, I am very pleased with this book.

I saw this exhibit at the Legion of Honor. This book contains all the dresses on exhibit plus others of the designer’s work. It’s a beautiful coffee table book. My one complaint was the spine came slightly cracked on top. I had to tape it. Otherwise this was cheaper than buying it from the mueseum

Best compilation of this designer’s work! Love it. Reliving the exhibit with every page.

Das ist ein wunderschönes Buch mit haute couture embroidery. Ich bin begeistert. Die Bilder sind fantastisch. Die Fantasie dieser Designering hat keine Grenzen!!!!
