File Box with Lock (Black)

Impressed with this fireproof box. Great size. Easy storage for documents.

This is a nice box which unfolds to a large size and which is more than ample for me to keep important documents and other small items protected from fire. Appears to have good workmanship and looks nice on the shelf where I keep it in my home office. Would purchase this again.

Flimsier than expected, but it does what it needs to. Not convinced its as fireproof as the manufacturer claims but hopefully that never needs to be put to the test.

Perfect storage box for storing files, etc. Durability and quality are great.

I have a file cabinet at work for my files, but it does not lock and all my co-workers have access to it. I was able to put this storage bag inside the cabinet, so that I have more privacy, a secure place to put things that no one can meddle with, unless they are shady enough to steal the entire bag. It prevents people from being nosy, but if there is a thief, they might steal the whole bag. I'm not concerned about theft right now, so this is perfect for me. And, the combination lock is easy to set up and use, so this is a perfect setup on the cheap. If you just want to keep prying eyes out, and not concerned about a thief, this is for you. I highly doubt this thing will deter a fire, but if it does, that's a great added feature. For $30, you can't beat it.

Plenty of room in the box. Thankfully no fire or water so I can't comment on that thankfully. Soft leather.

I would give it three and a half stars if I could. It is flimsy as other reviewers have stated. The lock is pretty useless unless you just want to keep toddlers from opening it. For my needs, hanging files for the important documents my loved ones will need when I eventually pass away, it will work just fine. I have other built in filing cabinets for everyday use. This one is not for that as I am pretty sure repeated zipping and unzipping will wear the flimsy zippers out. I am also very skeptical about it being fireproof, for that I have a real safe.

There are NO files included with this File Box and on line they are about £15 to buy. Very disappointing. The zip is not easy to navigate around the corners. Portable and lightweight until filled.

Good size and seems to be good quality. Not sure if it's fire safe. Bit expensive for what it is.

File box itself seems well made, but disappointed that the lid didn't have the storage netting as depicted in the picture as advertised.
