I don’t often review, but pretty much every one I read about these chairs said there were “metal shavings” with the legs. My legs came wrapped in a cloth and I had zero metal shavings. Don’t know if the manufacturer read the reviews and fixed the problem, but I wanted to comment. I think they’re gorgeous! I got the gray and I don’t find the stitching off putting at all. Minor problems assembling the first chair (all my fault I needed short & fat, not long & thin screws, credit to the Robin Williams movie Survivor) the second chair went together in no time flat. Seem comfortable, we’ll see how my in-laws feel since they’ll be sitting in them on Thanksgiving. Don’t judge the picture, that’s obviously not where they are going. Ok no picture, sorry my phone is being a little bitch.

I just finished remodeling our dining room, and needed some chairs to go with the new slab table that I made. After having and using these chairs for a few months, they've done very well and still look and feel fantastic. We have 2 young daughters, and their messes have not left any lasting marks or stains. I recommend putting felt pads on the bottom of the legs to keep from scratching the floors. The plastic/hard rubber ones rubbed and scraped our floors a little before I got the felt. Also, as other reviewers said, assembling the chairs isn't difficult, but there are a good amount of metal shavings inside the tubes that will make a big mess if you try to assemble inside. As I assembled the chairs, I'd give them a very good shaking to try to get as many out as I could. Despite the annoying shavings, we've been really happy with the chairs and would definitely recommend them.

Comfortable. Chair is sturdy. Vinyl looks good. Better "leather" look than other chairs we looked at. Straight hex shaft is included and I highly recommend you use it in a hand drill. The thread pitch is tight on all the screws and it takes forever to assemble by hand with the included Allen Key. Seat totally wrapped in plastic and I could not find any scratches. Legs mummified in black cloth. Some scratches/scuffs found on legs but not bad and nothing the chair won't have on it after a week of being used. Assembly is straight forward, no issues. Legs have metal shavings/pieces inside them from the drilled and punched holes. Most of it is extremely tiny and it gets EVERYWHERE when you are assembling the chair. DO NOT assemble on carpet. I did and I'll never get all the metal shavings out. You can hear the pieces rattling around in the legs when lifting the chair but otherwise it does not make noise. 4 out of 5 stars because while it did have some scratches and the legs are filled with the metal shavings, it looks great, is comfortable, is sturdy and you get two of them for 90$.

A couple of months ago, I began searching for a sturdy, but comfortable chair after having noticed my 8th grader and high schooler slouching in their chairs in the dining room while e-learning, for hours! No matter how many times I reminded them to sit up, to save themselves from back and neck pain, but the moment i left the room they'd go right back to their slouchy positions. I couldn't have that. My dining room chairs are solid wood with a high back, and cushioned seat. Great for eating at the dinner table, but terrible for sitting on for hours. So after searching for months for the right set of chairs I stumbled on these, read the many positive reviews and even though NEW chairs weren't available, I took a chance on 2 sets of "Like New". I received my chairs within about 3 days, box was a little beat up, but everything was perfect inside. I put them together in about 30 minutes ( all 4 chairs), it was very easy. I can tell you this, the reviews are spot on! They're super comfortable! The low back and curvature design on the seat prevents my boys from slouching, and keeps them upright with cushioned comfort for the entire school day. We've been using the chairs for a little less than 2 weeks, my boys love them, my husband whose about 240 lbs loves their comfort and sturdiness, and my 5 year old is now refusing to sit on her youth chair because she loves the softness of the faux leather on these. So glad I bought them😍 They are worth every penny!

In total, I've purchased 8 dining chairs and 4 bar stools. They've all been great and only one arrived with a small blemish. We've had the bar stools for around 3 years now and they still look like we just got them. Super comfy and we get many compliments on them. Great prices too and easy to assemble.

Update - Finally got in contact with the manufacturer and they sent out the parts. Great chairs!! Overall, I love the chairs. They are pretty, comfortable and seem sturdy BUT out of the 5 pairs I purchased (10 chairs in total), I didn't receive parts and hardware for two of them (in different boxes) and have been unable to reach the manufacturer. No matter how pretty or sturdy they are, they're obviously not good if I can't even put them together

Update: I’ve had these since last year and still love them. Very durable. I completely recommend these chairs….as long as you are ok with the issues below. For two chairs under 100 dollars, I couldn't really be more pleased. I didn't notice any metal shavings like the other reviewers. I ordered 8 chairs. YES there is an issue with two different manufacturers being used. One is made in China, is a taller chair and has a slightly cheaper feel. The other is made in Vietnam, has a shorter back but a better leather feel. We did have to talk to Amazon customer service about one box (a Vietnam one) which came with three right legs and only 1 left. Also another box of Vietnam ones has bubbles in the leather. So quality control is better in the Chinese boxes. ALL THIS ASIDE: we love the chairs. The quality is great, they look classy and have held up to a bunch of kids jumping on them. Even with the quality issues, I would recommend.

I decided to order two of these chairs to see if we like them. We did, so I tried to order more. When the second set of chairs came, they were very different from the first set. One of the chairs in the second package also came with torn leather. I clicked on the links on Amazon to contact the manufacturer, but none of the phone numbers listed are in service. I’ve sent an email and I’m waiting to hear back now, but the first set of chairs we got was wonderful. The second set not so much. They are smaller, shorter, and not as comfortable. Update: after three days of trying, I reached Roundhill furniture by phone. They let me know that they have two plants- one in china and one in Vietnam. The chairs that come out of each plant are slightly different. The taller chair comes from china. (That was the first one I got.) you can take your luck with Amazon. They have no way to distinguish between the two. Or you can order directly from the manufacturer (for a higher price) to guarantee which chair you get.

These fit nice with my boho country theme in my dining room. Easy to assemble and sturdy.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! These chairs must have been “engineered” .. they are modest to look at but they are soooooo steady and solid, they are soooo comfortable, they ALSO “look great” ... go for it!! Very well priced for what you will get ...

Good looking comfortable chair.

I think they are beautiful! They were really easy to assemble. The instructions say you'll need 2-3 people to assemble, but that's not true, I did it by myself very easily. Other reviews I read said when they opened the packaging there were lots of little metal pieces everywhere, I thankfully didn't have that problem. One chair came with a little scratch on it (shown in the picture). I think they are lovely and very comfy!!
