TTfone TT160

It's an excellent little phone which works exactly as stated. No deceptive promotion. It has no internet which I found refreshing: no tracking, no nagging, peace at last. I have a smartphone, of course. We have been cornered into not being able to live without one. I bought this one as my phone provider barred my smartphone number without me knowing and for no reason, I could find out. 3 days before I got it unbarred with numerous, tedious, Facebook messages with their customer services to get it unbarred. I am very ill and near end-of-life and dependent on a phone to manage the few things i can. I bought this cheap little phone so I have a back up with a prepaid SIMM card. It really is a cute little phone: messaging, calendar, phoning, torch, photo, camera, several other basic apps like alarm call etc. My only small gripe is the phone lock does not disable 999 call. It meant the first time I put it in my pocket, the number 9 key got pressed several times! One knows why. But since the phone unlock is simple, it used me used lock all the number key pad. But well done. Wow. A phone for 19 quid that's tiny instead of a pc on a brick.

What I loved so much about this phone is the longer battery life. I bought this phone for my mother as the smart phones are too complicated for her. But before I handed over the phone to her let me charge the phone and keep it with me for a while to see how long the battery is going to last. This phone battery can last up 5 days depending on your phone usage. The phone is easy to navigate and value for money. I genuinely recommend.

I don't need a phone that does handstands and makes the coffee - just calls and texts. It's quite a smart looking little phone and I like the raised matt keypad buttons. But beware if you are short sighted. The screen text is quite small - I need glasses! Plus the overall size makes it quite fiddly. I think older folk with less nimble fingers might struggle. It's a dual sim phone which works with one sim. However there is a little nag on the screen to insert the second sim. It seems churlish to whinge at the price but it took me an age to find out how to turn off the annoying key pad lock. I think the instructions could be better on some points. Imo it would be better if it was off by default with instructions on how to turn it on. Otherwise it works as it should and the battery life so far is good.

Phone will not accept sim card. The sim card is in good working order, has been used in another phone. Message on screen says insert sim card emergency calls only. How do I return the faulty phone back to yourselves.

My other phone 'side's so this is perfect as a tempory measure. Easy to use even if it is a little slow!

The phone itself is good, easy and compact however.... It takes the original sims which means that unless your provider gives you the old old style sim size (extra big), you cannot get the sim to sit properly. SO the only option is to hope for the best or buy a kit. I tried three, 02 and vodaphone sims and found that none of them provided a large enough sized to fit the phone. Very disappointing.

I think if you want a phone without the internet like me you will not get a good phone, even Nokia who used to be good with the more more basic phones. This tt fone is too basic as it does not have predictive text writing or using capitals and then small, so I am disappointed with this phone. Very limited ringing tones for calls and calendar reminders and very hard to hear people when on the phone. The plus side is you can use the voice recorder to record your phone calls when speaking and talking with different people. I would not buy this phone again as really not that good. I just wanted a phone without any internet but really not many phones like that anymore. I should build my own phone and design it as a lot of phones are just badly made.

Really nice basic phone that is durable enough for the adult I bought it for as they have broken many of the more modern glass cases sort. It’s functional and does what we need it to do at the bargain price we got it for.

El móvil está muy bien por precio, lo único que me mosqueó bastante fue, que al parecer el repartidor tenía curiosidad por saber lo que era, rajo la caja de Amazon por un lado, justo para que saliera la caja interior del producto, siendo un teléfono móvil a saber para dios qué, la volvió a meter y le puso cinta de precintar, estaba tan mal echo que no se si es así de bruto, o quería que me diera cuenta de que lo había abierto. Con el móvil muy bien, lo que buscaba, a no ser que lo manipulara pinchándomelo para meter un micro en mi casa, ja, ja, es broma, ...............
