Will this work with the Brother HS-3000?

Yes it will. But I don't recommend it, if you don't have a serger I guess is better than nothing, it doesn't work that well. I have try it couple times and it depends the fabric for it to work a little better. Knits, don't even try I was very disappointed, it actually ruin my pants :( hopefully this helps. The best I can do is refer you to the brother International site to the sewing section and put in your model number and see if it's compatible. That's what I do every time I order a part here at Amazon for my Brother machine.
