HappyLight Duo 2-in-1 Desk Lamp

I have some seasonal shift in mood when the days grow short. I purchased this light after doing considerable research and I’m very pleased. The power of the light at its highest setting is excellent and definitely does the trick. The different settings for range of light (high daylight to evening ambient) is also excellent. I highly recommend it to others.

Great little lamp. The ability to dim and change the hue from bright white to warm white is a must have for me. You can make it light up an entire room if you angle the lamp head properly.

My husband loves this lamp! Uses on dest for work as it provides light to see and is also a therapeutic light!

Perfect. Fully assembled. Well made. This is a nice light for synching circadian rhythm to daylight. The blue spectrum is strong. Lamp is attractive and utilitarian enough for a desk lamp

This is the best sunlight I’ve ever had for the purpose of being a sunlight. I saw a video testing that it had a high circadian light value which is what you want and it feels like it. The 3 color settings are nice and match other lights almost perfectly. Oh, and there’s almost no glare!! - this is big for me bc these bright lights are often blinding but this one is great. My disappointment is the build is big and not very attractive. The base and light are wide and take a lot of space. My biggest annoyance is controlling the brightness; you have to press a button 7 times to cycle through and it’s hard to tell where it’s at. If there was a knob or scale it would be much better. Overall I’d give a 3.5 because of price and design. But, would still recommend for quality of light.

I am happy with HappyLight! For 30 to 45 minutes first thing in the morning(especially now in dark winter mornings) with my coffee and breakfast; also late afternoon for tea. And yes it does, boost my mood. It is as advertised. Also as advised by an online ‘reels’ therapist, I set the lamp high, “overhead” so that it is not shining directly in my face. The lamp base is where it’s heaviest, so it is very sturdy. And it’s like the sun is shining in my kitchen. I just sit and enjoy coffee, tea, or a bite to eat. And, it’s certainly delightful! The lamp has an elegant look to it. There’s no assembly required, just plug in. And Shine On. Happy with purchase.

Love this lamp!! It sits on a shelf above my kitchen sink so it's easy to get my light in while cooking.

Like many others, I've have been working from home (WFH) since March 2020 due to Covid. I find the isolation of working solo in my apartment on my laptop all day quite hard...depressing some days, to be quite frank. I'm already prone to low-grade depression in general, so Covid has been really taxing on my mental health. Since I needed a new table lamp for my WFH setup anyway, I decided to try this HappyLight Duo desk lamp and I LOVE IT. It not only provides excellent, crisp, clear light on my WFH desk, but I like that it's also providing me with light therapy to lift my mood some during these dark times (literally since it's winter...and figuratively, you know, like with Covid, ugly politics, war, etc.). I genuinely think I feel better/lighter/cheerier after I've been working by my HappyLight Duo for several hours. I also like the different settings the HappyLight Duo has that change the brightness of the light (I think there are 7 gradients) and the "type/temperature" of light you get (3 different modes). I use the brightest light in the morning to try to help wake up faster and try to get some morning good cheer going. I actually keep the light on in the afternoon just because it's nice and adds warmth to my apartment. And finally, I use the lower and mellower settings in the evening when I'm still working on my laptop, but don't want the light to be so intense. Oh, one last thing! The design is simple and lovely. That's another reason I chose it - it looks nice on my desk along with all my white and silver Apple products. I am a minimalist style-wise and I really appreciate the simple design and white color. It's a handsome, modern-looking lamp. It's so great that the HappyLight Duo is dual-purpose AND looks good! Sending love and light and joy and hope to all those who suffer from depression. I understand. Do any little thing you can to help make yourself feel better...like perhaps buying this HappyLight Duo. It's worth the money.

It has a lovely, soft, flexible, grippy neck. Heavy base makes it very stable. The light is just perfect - no shadows or glare. Simple touch power on/off and illumination level. It just fits in with my desktop. It is well named i.e. "HappyLight".

If you are in the UK, be warned it comes with an American power supply. Although the description says corded electric, it's actually a 20v American power adapter. No idea if the light itself is any good as I have no way of trying it out. Why sell it on the UK amazon store when it's unusable for your customers?

It's a task light as well as a therapy light. The neck can also be flexed to that the light point towards the ceiling, for strong indirect lighting.

J’ai des problèmes d’endormissement depuis près d’un an. Une poussée de sclérose en plaques a compliqué le rétablissement de ma chirurgie pour la reconstruction de mon LCA et la chirurgie a compliqué la gestion de cette poussée. J’ai acheté cette lampe suivant le conseil de ma psy. Sincèrement, après environ deux semaines, je réussi ENFIN à m’endormir plus tôt et commence à avoir une meilleure qualité de sommeil réparatrice. De ce fait, j’ai plus d’énergie dans la journée. On a pas besoin non plus de passer des heures à côté de la lampe pour constater les bienfaits. Elle fait partie de mon quotidien maintenant et je ne peux déjà plus m’en passer. :)

When my purchase from Verilux arrived in the mail, I was surprised. Having bought my excellent first Verilux light ten years ago in person, I expected this time to see the common decline in quality of the company’s product line. This light is designed well and made of superior materials. It’s even a pleasure to handle. Since I don’t have any way of verifying a bulb’s brightness or degree of lumens output, I bet with my money on this brand and trust this product with nicely do the trick.
