AIAIAI - Good quality studio standard
Great set of studio perfomance headphones. Asthetically pleasing too. Came in at a good price aswell.

Noisy and latency still not great.
Maybe I had a duff pair but was surprised by how loud the noise floor is using wireless. You can kind of work around this by turning the volume on the earphones down to about 20% and then cranking the source up but I wished it had been more widely available as information before I made a purchase. It kind of feels like Iโm having to hack the device to get the quality sound Iโd expect. They also make a lot of noise on their own. Just turning my head made them rustle and creak at a level that became annoying. I had some issues with the latency but Aiaiai suggested returning for a repair. I donโt think this is a normal issue. None of the above would have been a dealbreaker except for the fact that these are really expensive headphones. I donโt mind paying for quality (and have done!) but these feel like they shouldnโt be more than about a ยฃ150. Youโre basically just paying because these are the 1st to market with this kind of technology. I love the brand but returned them. Hoping that the technology improves because they are such an amazing concept and incredibly freeing in the studio. Iโll buy the next generation if they improve the above.

Good sound, some odd design decisions, need gain staging.
be aware what you are buying and you will be fine. wireless transmission at low latency will mean some noise and requires careful gain staging to reduce/minimise a little background 'hiss'. Bluetooth mode works well enough. Low latency connection is exactly that. Button presses take too long to activate functions in general and the button are hard to press / have poor tactile feedback. the app is fairly useless - could be so much more useful with some development. If you want low latency headphones for music production and are good at remembering to charge things then these work very well indeed. In fact that basically have no competition.

Using the 2.4ghz dongle has a loud white noise hiss
BT worked fine, comfort is fine, sounds fine, but the 2.4 dongle causes such a loud hiss that I thought I had a defective product. Googled it as one does and their official site's "fix" is to turn to headset down to like 15-20% volume and boost it at the other end. On my system this made the headset so quiet it was pointless, how can this be sold with such a problem when aimed at studio professionals I have no idea. Big shame, was looking forward to these. Returned.

Gutted These could and should have been the 1
I'm not an audiophile in the general sense, I don't make or product music... I just love listening to music, clean and crisp sounding audio and punchy bass when it's called for in a genre or song. But I don't like to listen to my music when I'm home chilling quite loud and these ain't it for me! I've wanted a set of AIAIAI headphones for the longest time but somehow kept upgrading my IEM collection instead as I find them just easier to deal with when on trains and so on. But finally bit the bullet and went for the studio pro wireless+ for home casual and if good gaming audio upgrade and I'm kinda disappointed! First up to bat the volume I'm guessing a hard limit? But I'd say at max volume connect wire, bt and Wireless + is about 20% down on any other headphones I've used! Now id say most people would say well I don't like them up that high and that's fair but at least others give you the option to push them if you want. Build quality is overall lovely almost perfect bar the Alcantera earpads the feel on these is amazing but the foam in side lacks filling and density. Audio quality is goodish clean but not really crisp with not distortion, overall id say it's not great my Hype4 iems produce cleaner sounding audio across the board granted they are 400 plus quid but they are ear buds..not headphones, and considering the volume levels are so poor id say if these had any distortion then something is terriblely wrong! Build Quality: 8.5/10 (lost a point for the very spongy cover filling ear pads Comfort: 9/10 (some may not like the pressure but it's not fatiguing Audio Quality: 6/10 Audio Volume: 4/10 Looks/Design: 10/10 I love the swapable parts way of doing these I really do I'm gutted I don't like them. I am sending back tho

Left volumn dropped off after ~6 months.
Originally I'd have given a 4.5/5... the connection time is too long, the connection "forgets" and needs re-syncing often, and firmware updating is difficult but the sound quality on wireless was unbeatable. After about 6 months the volume on the left side dropped to ~80% of the right side. Verified with multiple sources and swapping to other headphones. Makes them far less useful for mixing.

Not good for Artist Professional Recording on Wireless
The artist will hear the latency when recording their vocals when wireless (white setting). It is off putting and not professional. Would be OK maybe with keyboards, guitar or DJ, or mixing. The tech is not there yet for artists recording vocals. These are good wired headphones... but you can get cheaper Sony studio headphones. Its the wireless that is not up the professional recording standards. So I'm back to using my wired Sony headphones. I'm a bit upset that I was fooled by the marketing. I wish they would be 100% honest about this product.

AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ Great headphones but not perfect.
I used these for about 2 months, while DJ-ing, Sampling on my MPC and mixing with Logic. These are my findings: Pros: - Very comfortable headphones. Great design allows the headphones to be very balanced on the head and surprisingly light. After 2+ hours of continuous use they haven't got uncomfortable. - The Alcantara ear cushions are the most comfortable pads I ever had. - Wireless mode with really low latency. Mobility is the biggest PRO for me. Walking around my studio / house while working on a song is just neat. - Modular design allows you to swap parts very easy. Any part of these headphones can be swapped. - Great build quality. Love the materials, love the accessories. They come with a very high quality coiled headphone cable in case you need it (make them loud) - Decent sound. Not the greatest but decent enough. It sounds (to me) that there are some mid freq. missing. It might be me. - Flat sound (which I love) Cons: - Wireless transmitter signal tends to be weak. In Wireless+ mode the headphones will start clipping on medium volume. This could be a PRO, high sound volume will get you tired very quick and could also damage your hearing on the long term, however if you plan using those in the airplane on Wireless+ mode, they might be to quiet to overcome the cabin noise. Once you plug them by cable, they're loud enough. - Both headphones and wireless transmitter have batteries so you have to charge both separately. It's supposed to work like that but it is inconvenient, especially if, you forget charging one (happened to me). - Decent sound but not the greatest. For sampling, chopping and layering I think these headphones sound is decent. For mixing, I would go for something else. Should you buy? It depends. - If you need a decent/on the budget all around Headphones for layering, but you don't care about the Wireless+ function, then these TMA-2 SW+ are not it. - If you need an over the ear all around Bluetooth headphones for daily use, you should not care about the low latency wireless connection which means that these TMA-2 SW+ are not it. - If you need a Studio Headphone for long sessions, good at sampling, layering, creating sounds, basic mixing and also love the fact that you can move around without being glued to the desk because of a wire, the Wireless+ function & most importantly the under 16ms latency offered by the TMA-2 SW+ is exactly what you need. I wish tho' they would be a bit louder, like 50% louder.

My endgame desk headphones
Amazing piece of hardware. Packaging, design, whole Aiaiai approach is admirable. The wireless thing gives you a near-zero latency for monitoring audio with true wireless. But you can plug in the wire any moment and they become wired. The fit is great (I'm L 59-60cm in motorcycle helmets), the alcantara pads are very comfy, but note that they don't isolate very well, but are great for all-day meetings/music. Beyond that, you can customize any parts of them, change the pads, change the speakers, change the wires, get different feel, change them every day if you want. And also, the sound - with the TMA-2 Studio package you get a clean set speakers, not surgical like BD, but also not lush like Sennheisers or some other hi-fi/-end phones. I kinda like them more and more every day, I tried playing this game (office meetings + microphone + flac music) with various 500+ euro setups, dacs, balanced blah-blah, BD 1990, SH 660 and Chinese atrocities, which sounded amazing, but it's all meh, this is my endgame setup, I love them (you may too). Thanks AIAIAI
