I feed this daily to my horses to maintain gut health and to my dogs for better health and a shiny coat. It works great, no significant smell, appears to mix well in food, the large size last for months.

This product can reduce the odds of colic in healthy horses.

It's wonderful for the digestive system. I had so many problems with Coty trying to colic until my vet recommended this product. Give at each feeding.

We have a 23 year old gelding that has had trouble the past couple years with diarrhea. This is not a cure all for him but it definitely helps firm up his stool. It is worth a try if you are having similar problems. I mix it with oatmeal and applesauce so you don't waste any in the bottom of the feed pan since the granules seem to filter to the bottom. 1 scoop probios, 1/8 cup oatmeal and a couple tablespoons of applesauce does the trick. Then I just plop the mixture on top of the grain and he eats it all. You can mix a little molasses in too for an extra bit of special - he loves that!

I am a GS breeder & have used this stuff for many years, in the powdered form to aid in weaning my pups. And also stabilize adults in times of stress or changes in diet. I would be giving it 5 stars instead of 4, if they had not more than tripled the price as soon as this recent probiotic craze started. I realize that literally everything has gone up in price, but I feel in this case it is excessive and they are taking advantage of people's love for their pets.
