Significant reduction in heat! I haven’t the slightest clue why Sony just wouldn’t create this to begin with. But I digress. Not only does this look cool, it’s functional and helps the PlayStation 5 from overheating. You know how it is to be deep into a session, the last thing you need is your beloved overheating from excessive usage/heat. I’m very pleased with this product, it fits perfectly and was easy to install. I love the all black look. Harkening to the previous generations.

Awesome replacement for the white PS5 disc side covers.Came with two stick on screens to put on the inside behind the louvers for reducing dust. No problems with the install ,fit solid, and was able to pick up each side by the covers , I just wanted to see how strong plastic was without anything happening and very impressed on how they are built like original plastic Highly recommended!!!

The product is as shown, but PlayStation still heats up (but takes longer than the original because of the vents of course) and it would’ve been better off without any cover at this point.

This replacement cover is a no-brainer to put onto your Ps5. The quality of the cover itself is fine. The benefits it gives once it is installed are good. It DOES allow the system to run at a cooler temp ; I'm not really certain about people saying it does not. I'd like to know where they store their game system. Getting the cover off itself takes a little work , BUT there is a proper way way to make it easy ; not just pull it up and remove. 4 years later and the faceplate replacement works like a charm. No issues. Helps reduce dust / fingerprints AND virtually no heat . Even on marathon sessions. Just keep your PS5 clean and in a good airflow area.THAT is the most important thing to remember. Lieferumfang / Verpackung: Da kann man tatsächlich nicht all zu viel zu schreiben. Die Frontplatten waren gut und sicher verpackt. Außerdem lag eine Anleitung dabei, die sehr genau und detailliert beschrieben hat, wie man die Frontplatten an die PS5 montiert. Qualität und Montage: Die Qualität ist sehr gut und ich habe es keineswegs bereut diese Frontplatten zu benutzen, anstatt der originalen Frontplatten von Sony. Die Montage ist sehr einfach. Gerade durch die mit Bildern beschriebene Anleitung, weiß man genau, wie es geht. Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten sind die Frontplatten montiert.
