The Setup: I just purchased my second Deity V-Mic D4 Mini because it has become an indispensable part of my setup. I run these on my Canon M50 cameras for on-camera interviews and vlogging, and the results are consistently professional. โWhy I Bought a Second One: When doing two-camera interview setups, having identical microphones is key for matching audio in post-production. The D4 Mini is so compact and reliable that it was a no-brainer to pick up another one. Itโs "plug-and-play" with no batteries required, so I never have to worry about a mic dying in the middle of a shoot. โPerformance on the Canon M50: โDesign: The offset shockmount is a lifesaver for M50 users. It keeps the mic clear of the flip-out screen and the eyepiece, which is a common struggle with other shotgun mics. โAudio Quality: It delivers a much fuller, more directional sound than the built-in camera mics. It does a great job of rejecting side noise, making it perfect for interviews in less-than-ideal environments. โThe "Secret Weapon" Input: The 3.5mm AUX input is brilliant. I can plug a wireless receiver or a lav mic directly into the side of the D4 Mini, and it automatically splits the tracks (Camera mic on Left, Aux mic on Right). This gives me two channels of audio without needing a bulky external mixer. โFinal Verdict: If you own a Canon M50 or any mirrorless camera, this is the best value-for-money upgrade you can buy. It's lightweight, rugged, and sounds fantastic. I trust these for all my interview work.

The clarity is good enough but does require some EQ tweaking to extract the goodness out of the mic. Using it in a boom config for my YouTube videos, and I would say it's decent. Let's see how much it holds up in the long run.

The sound quality is so much better than the internal mic on my cameras. While it draws power from the cameras, I don't notice any quicker degradation of the batteries. It's small so it's easily packed in my camera bag. I love that it has both input and output jacks to use for other connections (like a Rode wireless mic). The dead cat wind supressor is durable and somewhat heavy for it's size, but it works well. It does't seem to muffle the sound.

Sab theek hai but noise thoda bahot aata hi hai.... Agar vlogging purpose ke liye le rahe ho ye mic toh suggest karunga ki Bi directional mic le lo... Wo better rahega

Deity has really high output. Things do sound good. Perfect for my ZV-1 and it gives voice in front a bit more depth (ZV-1 mic is already pretty good, but this still helps to focus the sound). No batteries needed. The deadcat is actually substantial (shows tiny on the pics, but it is serious)
