This book is a must-have for anyone preparing for the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification. Started reading earlier today and realised I was twenty minutes in and I’ll I’d read was waffle. And my word, whoever sent this to print thought they were sending terms and conditions. I’ve compared it to my other text books and it’s about two points smaller. So I’m not just reading useless padding. I’m straining my eyes doing so.

Not happy with the content nor with how it is layed out. Here's why: • There is just too much waffle and not enough substance. On the upside, the editor did a great job - the book is very well written in terms of language use, but none of us are here for it! • You will fail at the exam, miserably, if this is your only source of information when preparing and you have no previousl experience in the field. SSCP is considered to be an entry level cert, so this should cover all basics, yet it has very very little to offer in terms of technical information and actual usage of discussed topics. This book is supposed to be your all-in one go-to, as it is an official study guide. Yet, because of what I've mentioned earlier, it just cannot be, or you will fail. Overall, left a very unpleasant impression as if the whole idea of SSCP study guide and the exam itself is a money grab by ISC2. If you are after actual knowledge, go for CompTIA Security+ instead.

I got so bored reading it that I took it to the shredder. haha.

Covers all domains of SSCP

Passed my exam yesterday using this book. The information in this book is clear and concise. I gave 4 stars because the book arrived in bad physical condition. Overall, it is must buy book when preparing for SSCP exam.

This is a very comprehensive guide to study for the exam. The author includes content, review section, and study questions for the main chapters. Would definitely purchase again based on what I've read thus far.

I really appreciate the practice quiz at the end of each chapter, helps me to prepare, looking forward to take on the SSCP exam
