Any testing on motorcycles?

If your motorcycle helmet has straps similar to a bicycle helmet, then yes, these will help lower wind-noise.

How can I use these without a helmet?

I don't know that you can. Their intent is to be used on a helmet to block the wind which then cuts down on noise.

Any recommendations as to a classic, xl, slim, etc? i ride road bikes and have a kask helmet.

The Classic is our most effective product and reduces the most wind noise. The AirStreamz and AirStreamz XL are a close second. We recommend the Slim for competitive or younger cyclists (or those who don't like the look of the larger products). Feel free to contact us with any other questions. admin@cat-ears.com

What’s the best way to clean these? I am concerned about the material being damaged.

I hand clean mine with liquid hand soap and water. I let them dry over night and they’re ready in the morning
