Lovely retro sugar tin.
I thought the tin was going to be big enough to store at least 5 kg of sugar, but it is small. Love the quality and the retro design. I am going to use it for retro sweets instead and hope to save up enough money to buy a big one to fit all my baking sugar. It’NSA’s easy to clean and when I cleaned it with warm soap and water it dried up well.

Looks good but a little pricey compared to the caster sugar one
Lovely retro tin which takes 500g bags of icing sugar. Not sure how easy it will be to clean but, as I always store my sugars and flours in a bag before putting them in the tins, it won’t be an issue I don’t think. Nice to have a hinged lid but may make tipping a bit tricky but it looks good and is nice and sturdy. I did think that this was a little expensive for what it is (the other tin they do is for caster sugar and that isn’t as expensive as the icing sugar one) but I am doing my kitchen out so it is not like I will have to buy lots of the icing sugar ones!

Good quality
Bought 3 of these. Could do with being slightly bigger as I doubt they will hold a full bag of flour. But they are solid and look great. Update: no they don’t fit a full bag of flour. They fit 3/4 of the bag .

Small and flimsy metal
Certainly looks the part, except that it's quite small and won't accommodate a normal size full bag of sugar - you have to empty some out. The tin appears reasonably airtight and the lid seems a decent fit plus is easy to open which should keep the sugar fresh. Cleaning should be easy enough. The metal is very thin, a pity, even if it added a little to the price, a bigger size and more robust build would have been welcome. Manufacturer's need to realise that many people would rather pay more for better quality rather than building things down to a price which only damages the reputation of the brand.

So cute very retro and looks so neat on the kitchen top. Something different and added touch. Big enough to hold a 1kg bag of sugar. Good price too.
