I primarily use it for the Pomodoro technique to break my study and work into manageable blocks, and it's been a gamechanger. One of my favourite purchases this year, just because it encourages myself to be more productive. It feels timeless especially the fabric design, the best material comparable is an Alexa speaker. I love the added muted option, so if you don’t want any noises you can still use it to see the time. It’s magnetic, so you can stick this on a whiteboard. It also goes upwards not just counting down. Also to control the time you twist the body, it gives a satisfying clicking noise.

I bought this and was really disappointed. I put in brand new batteries but the display did not work (pictures show what should read 00:50 and 00:30. Sent this back. **After being refunded the seller contacted me to ask me if I’d give the product a second chance. I agreed as faults happen. The second one is working well - full image shows on display. Nothing in life is perfect and faults can occur - I am pleased that the replacement is working well. The sound can be muted which is a good option (or set to high or low). It’s a decent timer and I will use it in the kitchen and gym (for circuit training).

I'm worried it might not hold up well over time with frequent battery changes. - A backlight feature would be a nice addition for those late-night cooking sessions when the kitchen lights are dim.

I have been using this item now for 6 months... After about 3 months the item was showing signs of malfunction such as not being able to turn on or when alarming you cannot acknowledge the alarm so you have to take the batteries out... 3 months on again and now even with fresh batteries the device sometimes alarms and sometimes dosent and you have to take the batteries out after every single use just to have a chance of it working properly as the activation button dosent respond otherwise... Shame I bought this item 15 months ago and only took it out the box and started using it 6 months ago due to moving home... I wouldn't recommend this item... when it works it's great but I now use my phone instead of this alarm because I simply cannot trust it to work correctly...

Easy to use. Push on and off and twisty timer. Nice that it’s magnetic. Have put on my extractor fan pipe.

I purchased this timer on an attempt to begin a digital detox and get away from reliability on my phone. And to practice becoming better at productivity (using the pomodoro time management technique). This timer in black looks very smart and sleek especially in contrast to any silver kitchen appliances - for example. . It's magnetic and the 'hidden' dial is a wonder to use. However I have already had to replace 3 AAA batteries in a short time (not supplied) and now noticing problems with the minutes and seconds no longer accurate e.g set a timer for 10mins using the dial, yet the seconds randomly set to a different value and I can't "nil" them. It's not a deal breaker but given the cost of this timer its longetivity is questionable... And there are much cheaper timers out there that can perform exactly the same function! (although admittedly do not look as smart)

The Timer works great. it is really handy and also sturdy. The Magnet is really strong and sticks to a lot of surfaces. The time stetting's are good and the display is clear to read . The Alarm Volume is good and easy to change.

Defective product that does not turn on. Very plastic and of cheap quality. I do not recommend it one bit

After using for a few months, this timer has helped in more ways than expected. It 1. Makes transitions more predictable at home (eg how much time is left for screens or reading etc). 2. Creates manageable time blocks for pieces of larger tasks - for the kiddos and adults in the family! And 3. Gamifies chores to see how much the kids can accomplish in a certain amount. It would be even better if it had a stand with which to prop it up but the magnet is a nice option too. It is easy to set, loud enough to hear from another room, and simple enough for most kids to use independently, from chores to schoolwork to playtime and more.
