24 Pack Intruder 16000 Better Mouse Trap

We live in the forest with 7 buildings on our property. Mice are a big issue, having caused $1,000s of dollars of damage over the years. I've tried a bunch of mousetraps and these are my go to. Pros: Easy to set, very effective, and super easy to dispose of dead mice and reset the trap. The bait lasts for many resets without having to fiddle with it. Finally, if they get nasty, they're super easy to take apart and clean. After that, they're good as new.Tips: 1. Use peanut butter as bait. Get it into the tines on the paddle below but don't smear it so far that it gets into the hinge or trip mechanism. See included photo. If you do it right, you can empty and reset the trap multiple times without having to worry about re-baiting. 2. Place them with the open jaw facing a wall, that way, the mice come at them from the side, and they're more effective. 3. Place them somewhere where they won't get tripped by pets or robot vacuums, but in a place that you can easily see if they're tripped when you scan for dead mice. The pile of parts you see in another picture was a batch I was doing a deep clean on in a bucket of warm soapy water. It took me 40-45 minutes to take them all apart, clean everything, reassemble, and re-bait. Don't look at these traps as disposable, they'll last for years if you're willing to clean them up once or twice a year.

I’ve tried multiple mouse traps and this trap consistently traps and kills more mice than any other trap. Easy to use, bait and clean if needed. I find a smear of peanut butter to be excellent bait.

These Intruder "The Better Mouse Trap" have been effective for us for years. We recently ordered a pack of 24 from Amazon. They arrived promptly. In checking through the box, I found a spring on one of the traps was broken. I phoned Intruder customer service. They immediately shipped out a replacement spring and an extra trap at no charge. Excellent customer service to match an excellent product!

These are the BEST mousetraps I’ve ever used! Easy to set, & you can move them around, unlike a standard snap trap, to get them in the best place. They’re very effective, & easy to pick up & empty using a “grabber” tool, if you abhor dead things, like I do. I bought 2 at first, then 6, now 24, as they’re so effective & easy to use, I keep giving them away!
