I bought this particular journal for two reasons: 1. I have a full size moleskin I love but wanted the smaller journal for a Bullet Journal 2. I wanted the dots for my bullet journal and not the lined rule that I have in my full size moleskin These are amazing. I don’t know if I will want to go back to my large moleskin simply because the pages of the name brand are thinner and my journal markers easily bleed. The covers on these are just as nice as my moleskin. The wrap around strap is just as nice as my moleskin. And the two ribbon bookmarks are just as nice as my moleskin. It wins out with the thick paper. I do still need my full size moleskin with the ruled lines for regular journaling that is as needed therapy or stream of conscious writing and I don’t need or want to index anything. But these are definately BUJO ready because the pages are numbered and it has dedicated fillable index pages so you can notate where to find everything. Which is good because I just happened to wonder what will I put on page 69 when my boyfriend asked me a very good question. 🤭. Being an INFJ I had to think about my response. I am not good on the spot with verbal responses unless you are looking for some quick sarcastic wit. But the first page I used the day after I got these wasn’t page 1. So the index pages up front with numbered pages is a nice feature you can use or not, but it’s there. UPDATE: My cousin bought me two more for my birthday! I got the Black/Pink combo this time as it was on my wish list. I just love these journals!! I am stocked up!

I really like the notebooks. The biggest thing i was looking for was a notebook that laid flat when opened. It does lay flat for the most part. The only “complaint” I have about this product is the first page that’s attached to the cover and the first page that’s labeled “content” the pages are slightly attached. Wasn’t a big problem, just glued them together to “fix” it. Overall I really like these notebooks. I think they’re worth the money spent.

I bought this to try bullet journaling. I use a fine-nib fountain pen with permanent ink (De Atramentis Document Blue). That ink soaks through most paper, but not this paper. Writing is just faintly visible from the other side, and the paper absorbs the ink almost instantly, so no smudged ink. It doesn't quite lay flat, but except for the very first and last pages, the paper is fully usable from edge to edge. I have only had it for a few days, and I am not sure if the bullet journaling will stick, but the notebook certainly will; I really like the dot grid format.

Moleskin quality at a reasonable price.
