Effective and Well Priced
I purchased this fan to exhaust warm air from a home theater equipment rack. With all the equipment turned on, the temperature in the rack quickly climbs to over 90 degrees. The equipment rack is recessed into a closet under a set of stairs, so goal was to activate the fan to pull warm air out as soon as the temperature rose to 80 degrees at the top of the rack. With the controller, it can be set to automatically and progressively increase fan speed after the temperature hits the target. Every 2 degrees after the target the fan can increase speed by 1 step. PROs: > Very quiet at fan speed 1 and 2. At 10, this fan pushes a lot of air. > Controller allows multiple control options - I just needed the high temperature option > Easy to install with the mounting plate - I got this mounted and installed in under 30 minutes. > Fan direction can easily be changed. The fan module just pulls out and you can change airflow without uninstalling - this is great to test whether pushing cold air in vs. pulling warm air out works better for your application. > Nice long temp/humidity probe and cable let me place the sensor exactly where I needed it. > Ability to place the controller wherever you want it as well. > Works seamlessly with their matching 4-inch flexible ducting, and wall mount duct grille. > Comes with two duct clamps > High quality construction -- strong mounting bracket, and thick plastic casing. CONS: > At speeds between 3 to 10 you definitely know it is running, though it is probably quieter than other fans. > I have this mounted to a wood support. At high fan speeds the motor vibration does reverberate through the wood supports - so need to play with how to isolate the fan if noise is important. > Controller settings are very complex given what you would typically want to do. To set the fan to turn on at 80 degrees and increment speed in steps as temps rise took a bunch of menu hopping and instruction manual reading -- not intuitive. In contrast this was a very simple setup on their AIRCOM fans. > Don't like the fact that in AUTO mode, multiple sensors can affect whether the fan turns on... Took a couple days to dial it in. High temp, low temp, high humidity, low humidity... hard to predict when the fan will turn on... I get this is geared for agricultural use, but setup is more complex than it needed to be.

The lil fan that does
I'm disabled, so dont have an income that allows me to do much. But I can afford ac infinity items, because you need only purchase them once, and they do what they are advertised to do. I've purchased AC Infinity products, now, for several months, 3 gallon grow bags, the 4" inclined fan and controller, air plates, and several other of theyer fans to control the small closet I've turned into my grow room. I will get self watering systems, soon hopefully, but ac infinity does all the work for me, and soon all I'll have to do is watch them grow. I still plan on getting the 2x2 tent they offer, soon, and will gett more fans, still, and a dry tent. Theyer products are exceptionaly made, quiet, and energy efficient. Im not a professional grower, but AC Infinity, makes me feel like I'm on the right path, with the choices I've made. I will continue to by my products from AC Infinity till a better product line comes along, offering better quality, and user friendly products. I dont see it happening any time soon, so I'm very happy with all I've purchased from AC Infinity. The 4" inline fan works and move so much more air than i thought it could displace. And its so quite. The controller makes every thing almost plug and play. Easy to understand directions, witch i definitely needed, but instructions walk you through it. And theyer are hundreds of you tube vids, to help walk you through it, easily. AC Infinity will continue to be my go to choice for my grow room. My grow Loves them, and I Love what I grow, so my choice has been made for me. Bit it's really just comman sence. Thank you, AC Infinity, for maken my life easier. A very happy and satisfied customer.

A MUST for those who love botany!
The AC Infinity exhaust fan is a top-notch choice for anyone needing effective ventilation. It’s incredibly efficient at moving air and keeping spaces cool, which is perfect for managing heat in various settings like grow tents or workshops. The fan operates quietly, a major plus if you're sensitive to noise, and the build quality feels durable and reliable. Installation is straightforward, and the adjustable speed settings allow for customized airflow. Overall, it’s a well-engineered product that performs exceptionally well, making it a valuable addition for maintaining optimal conditions in any space.

Mine came with a 69 Pro controller!
I just found out this package came a few days ago with a AC Infinity 69 "Pro" controller!!! Very satisfied with this. I don't know what all the Pro has above and beyond the regular 69. I do know one thing is the vapor pressure deficit. Let me do a regular review and then I'll mention VPD again. OVERALL Overall I'm very happy with this system, it's letting me play mad scientist and create my own environment while doing something I love, growing plants. Tomatoes, sage, bamboo currently. It's a tiny bit noisy (see the humidifier section), so you probably don't want it in your bedroom if a little clicking is going to keep you awake. FAN I've had this setup a few days and I'm mostly satisfied with it. The fan is nice, it doesn't feel like it pushes that much air but for a smaller space it's adequate, I use it on a 2x4 space. The fan bracket keeps the fan pretty close to the bracket so depending on your installation you're going to be stretching to get the bolts into the holes. It works in the end, but clearances are tight. Make sure you account for any ducting that attaches to the fan in your install. CONTROLLER The controller is the star of this show. I was looking at the controller and saw this extra number on the screen that wasn't in the AC Infinity 69 manual. It's kPA, kilo-pascals. I did a little googling and realized I had the Pro controller! This kPA number measures the vapor pressure deficit. It basically means you need to keep your humidity in your grow space up around 60-70% to get your plants in the zone where they don't spend their energy in transpiration. Basically, when there's not enough water vapor in the air, plants will emit water vapor. If you have a high VPD you're watering your plants more than needed and they are working hard producing nothing but effectively sweat. Otherwise, if you're not used to thinking in terms of a state machine, you'll find this controller confusing. You have to cycle through several modes and then press non-intuitive buttons to program the thing. You'll be referring to the manual often, which is fine. This is actually a pretty powerful little controller, it does so much! The only thing it doesn't seem to do, which the docs seem to say it will do, is to have the fan respond to two inputs. Supposedly you can set the high temperature threshold in that mode, then cycle to the mode for high humidity and set that threshold. Then in theory the fan will control both head and too much humidity. (I'm not worried about humidity during the "day," it's at night when the plants transpire in the dark I want the humidity controlled. This controller doesn't seem to do both. ECOSYSTEM Don't forget, unless you buy all your parts from AC Infinity, you'll need some of the AC outlet controller boxes. I needed three, two for my Mars Hydro lights, and one for my cheapo humidifier. These boxes are $20 each as of this writing so that's another $60 laid out to get this system working. HUMIDIFIER Just a final note, you can really skimp on the humidifier. You don't need warm mist, and you need a non-computerized one that simply starts up when the power is applied, without the user intervening. I found one for $25 and there was a Amazon Warehouse deal for $16. It came with a couple hairs yuk gross but I save $9.

Read this
If you are reading this you are probably searching for grow equipment with a budget in mind which can be confusing, but rest assured this is an awesome deal. This includes the 4 port model 69 controller w/ temperature probe which retails for $99 just by itself. So basically for a little more money you also get the exhaust fan. Using this and adding a UIS compatible AC infinity grow light and circulation fan you have the ability to control the entire setup via the wired controller or wirelessly via Bluetooth/wifi from the app. You also still have one UIS port left over on the controller for a humidifier, heater, etc. The ventilation fan itself runs super quiet and does not produce noticeable extra heat. It is also very energy efficient. All hanging and mounting hardware is included with multiple different options for installation. Be advised ducting for the fan is not included but can be purchased separately, any 4” diameter air-dryer hose will work. ACinfinity is known for their excellent fans and this is no exception. User manual is also very clear and easy to understand. All told this is absolutely a great deal and a great first component to your indoor garden.

Comparison of Cloudline Pro T4 and Cloudline A4
I use an AC Infinity Cloudline 4-inch fan to ventilate my crawlspace. It successfully reduced my radon levels from 4 to 2 pCi/L — a significant improvement. I purchased and tested two models: the **Cloudline A4** and the **Cloudline Pro T4**. The **A4** is the more affordable option. It comes with everything needed to connect it to ducting, including a simple hardwired controller with a generous 10-foot cable. The **Pro T4**, which I ultimately installed, includes a more advanced controller that supports multiple fans, connects to Wi-Fi, and can be managed through a smartphone app. Like the A4, it’s hardwired to the fan. The smart controller works well, but it’s clearly designed for indoor growers — a bit overkill for my simple crawlspace ventilation setup. Still, I prefer the Pro T4 overall. It seems quieter and runs smoother. Using an iPhone app, I measured about a 10 dB noise difference between the two models, with the Pro T4 being quieter. That may not sound like much given the 90 dB reading at full-speed, measured close to the intake, but the Pro T4 produces a sound frequency that’s less harsh to my ears. Another notable difference is power draw. According to the attached labels, the A4 uses up to 35 watts, while the Pro T4 draws only 28 watts. Average consumption, according to the labels, differs even more — 14 watts less for the Pro T4. That may seem minor, but it adds up when the fan runs 24/7, year-round. Overall, I like the AC Infinity fan. It produces a good airflow and it appears well made. However, I’m deducting one star for the noise level being higher than advertised — those specs likely refer to the lowest speed setting, which isn’t useful for my application. I also found the Pro T4’s manual lacking; it took some trial and error to understand the controller’s features since the documentation wasn’t much help. Recommendation: I initially installed the unit by screwing it directly to the joists, but the running noise was noticeable in the room directly above. After switching to the provided mounting straps and creating an approximately 1-inch gap between the fan and the joists, the noise became practically inaudible in the room above. I highly recommend this installation method. Disclaimer: I am a regular paying customer and did not receive any incentives from the seller or manufacturer.

Brilliant!
I think most of us know what we're getting with AC Infinity inline fans by now. They're top of the market for a reason. I finally upgraded from my old DC powered fans to these new EC models. Noise and power seem to be about the same, but this controller and app ecosystem is brilliant and I'm not gonna say no to higher efficiency. I was shipped the correct controller with mine (Controller 69) in December 2022. The sensor seems accurate and is VERY fast to respond. I have an inkbird controlling my humidifier set with a 1% tolerance. AC Infinity sensor shows a 10% fluctuation. The inkbird is slow to turn on and slow to turn off. Can't wait till the UIS outlets are back in stock to tighten that window. The app took a few minutes to get the hang of, but it has everything you need and works perfectly. All readings are updated in real time, without a delay. Every port can be programmed for different times of the day. They can be triggered by environmental changes or on a cycle. UIS capable fans can ramp up and down and outlets offer a deadband. Highly customizable. It doesn't have wifi, but the Bluetooth range is exceptional. I can view readings from several rooms over and even on another floor. The controller had an unexpected magnet, and my tent happens to be right next to my fridge. Perfect! Overall, I'm very impressed. I had previously tried a Niwa Grow Hub and everything about it was underwhelming and frustrating. I had no real control over anything. The UIS platform smokes grow hub in every way and is cheaper AND comes with a fan. One note, if you have advanced automation programmed on each port, be sure not to leave the app/controller set to All. Your individual port programs will not run. Your physical controller screen corresponds to whichever port you've selected in the app. If you exit the app with any of the ports chosen, all of your port automations will run, regardless of which port is currently being viewed. The important thing is just don't leave it on All.

Crawl Space Exhaust Fan Goodness!
I am writing this review for two reasons. The first reason is the Cloudline T4 fan unit itself, and AC Infinity's awesome customer service. The second reason is the title of the review. I am not using this in a grow room, but in an encapsulated crawl space as an exhaust fan. This fan is outstanding. It was easy to install and setup. For my use, I just have it strapped to a short cinder block and sitting on the floor of my crawl space. I have a Vivosun duct cover over the intake, as the intake is not connected to anything, and I didn't need a carbon filter for my application. I then have the AC Infinity 8' ducting connected to the hard duct that exhausts to the outside. My Fantech FR-100 was pulling way too much air, causing too much negative pressure in my townhome, and causing too much noise, mainly from bad mounting and thus vibration noise. The FR-100 was literally shoved into the hard duct, sheet metal screwed on, and then duct taped. Basically, just hanging there off of the hard metal duct. Anyway, I was wanting to know the CFM ratings per fan speed settings, and AC Infinity support was awesome, quick, friendly, and got me that information fast through their chat. The other issue I had, was the FR-100 was way too close to the inside floor intake vent, about 5' away. This made for uneven temps in my crawl space due to lack of air circulation. Air pulled into the crawl space and exhausted right out. With the T4 and ducting, I was able to place the fan much further from the intake making air circulation better and thus I now have more even crawl space temps. My crawl space is small, about 250 ft, and per code, only needs about 5 CFM. Setting 1 is about 45 CFM, and I am currently set on level 4, about 100 CFM. This in part due to the dust cover lowering the actual CFM and a backflow air valve on the intake from the house. I need to create enough pressure to make sure the valve opens and I was testing a few things. I will like lower the level to 2 eventually. Anyway, this Cloudline T4 fan, is truly whisper quiet. At 10, I am sure there is some noise, but in testing up close, from levels 1 to 6, you could barely hear it at 4 - 6. Overall, I am super impressed with the Cloudline T4 and its smart controller (which I will be upgrading to the WiFi model).

One of my best buys!
This is an amazing deal. The controller quality is way beyond expectations. Its extremely rugged with excellent buttons and display. Fan has a special plug not a regular plug that inserts into the controller and the controller plugs in the wall. Extremely long wires and connectors are of high quality so this is built to last. You can mount the controller in the tent unlit or on the wall 20 feet away with 3 brightness levels. The temperature probe is very accurate and you can see the temperate fluctuate as the fan speeds change. Controller has six fan speeds and it can automatically change speeds. As someone else said this device alone is worth the $110. Not going to rate the fan until I have used it for awhile - but new it is also really nice. It is very quiet and powerful and certainly pulls good on a carbon filter. I have mine mounted vertically with 1 rigid 4 foot length of duct coming out the top of the tent like a chimney to max out the CFM. If you see no updates everything is going great. For now, I am extremely happy and would be if it was twice the price. UPDATE: 5 Weeks on 24/7 still excellent. Decided to just set it to the 3rd speed and it sucks in the walls of my tent. UPDATE: Totally stopped working a few weeks later so I returned it and replaced it with the same unit. Have had no problem with second unit for 6 months now. This fan is quiet but I would not pay too much of a premium for this as other fans much lower priced will work just as well.

Amazing inline fan and works great - loads of features
Amazing product, and it arrives with the new Controller AI, not the one displayed in the picture, so just a heads up. It's the newer and better model and provides lots of amazing functionality, and also looks better. The fan is great at extracting air and keeping humidity low in my basement, and I love that I can check the stats on my phone and see how it has been performing. Also, being able to control it from anywhere in the world is very useful as long as you connect the controller to WiFi. Noise can be a bit loud on max airspeed, but that's expected. Anything below 7-8 is very workable. I'm setting it up as a dual system with a blast gate and splitter for humidity control, and also as an electronics fume extraction system, which is great for that purpose. Controller sticks onto magnetic surfaces so I did not need to mount it and put it on my metal garage shelving and placed the fan unit on the top shelf. It comes with very high-quality cables, and the packaging is also very well thought out; each thing is easy to find. There is endless functionality on the app, and you can customise and automate it through a variety of sensors and cases such as RH, temp, etc. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a good quality and well-made inline fan that has all the features.
