DAYUAN Pro Cylinder Head Service Set Valve Spring Compressor Removal Installer Kit

We had a 2014 Jeep Wrangler 3.6 liter Pentastar come in running bad and skipping. We found the engine had a broken intake valve spring. This tool was easy to use, and worked very well to compress the damaged valve spring and allow us to install the new one. There are no directions, so you kind of have to figure it out on your own, but it's not difficult. We ended up using the camshaft cap mounting holes to install the brackets. After that it was simple. I know they have a lot of problems with the valve train (rocker arms) on this engine, but this is the first one we had with a broken valve spring. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This tool worked for a 01 honda civic. But you will only get 2 bolts to fit on locking this down to the head. But it works.

These did the job when others wouldn't. There's a bit of a learning curve, and directions are nil so if you don't have an engineering mind, it can be a challenge, but YouTube can fill in where the manufacturers didn't.

This worked well for replacing the valve seals without removing the cylinder head.

Tool works great on removal of the valve spring that I have used it on,have pulled several heads apart and was simple to use

Showed up late and when it did I noticed the valve seal installer tool does not thread properly on all the valve seal install adapters. It only threaded on 2 out of the 6 adapters provided

As soon as i picked up my package from the ground it sounded like marbles rolling around. The casing does a very poor job at keeping all the tools separate and in place. I’m sure it will do its job but overall disappointed as I am one that likes a neat work space

I returned two of these because they were so damaged in shipping. In one kit, the bar was so bent that it couldn't go back in its slot. In both cases, the carrying case, as well as the finish on components, were gouged and worn. It seems like a great value for the price but I didn't use or keep any due to condition.

Very easy to set up and use and there was unthing missing from the kit.

Good kit and did exactly as advertised. Replaced valve stem seals on a mk4 golf 2.0L BEV.

il n'y a pas le bon adaptateur pour aller se visser dans le puits de bougie d'une mini cooper R56, j'ai donc du mixer avec le tuyau d' un compressiometre qui lui.... avait du être bricolé également (même type de mauvais outil chinois) pour le même problème ! bref tous les grincheux qui postent des avis négatifs devraient relativiser, ça leur a évité de déculasser, et faut arrêter de croire qu'un outil à 50 balles est un outil professionnel. Ma mini ne fume plus j'ai pu changer les joints de soupape, et j'ai économisé au moins 2000 balles. ça valait bien le coup !

Non proprio adatto per il motore fire 176, i due ponti laterali per la barra passante son riuscito a fermarli con un bullone solo a lato ed un po' macchinoso spingere la molla perché alla leva spingimolla gli manca l'incavo a mezza luna al posto giusto che facci presa sulla barra quindi si fa fatica a spingerla ed evitare che scivola nella barra d' appoggio, e' una sfida ma a funzionato. Anche l'attrezzo tipo penna con le due levette in punta che entra nelle due finestrelle dove appoggia lo spingimolla e' un po' complicato da usare ma funziona destreggiandosi un po'. Fantastica la pinza dritta per spingere il paraolio fino a battuta sullo scorri stelo (almeno per quanto riguarda i paraolio che ho montato), ha la perfetta larghezza da chiusa per non toccare la molla del paraolio ma non troppo larga per superare lo scalino dopo, un colpetto col martello in gomma sul manico e va perfetto a battuta, non potevo chiedere di meglio per questa pinza.
