I came across this speaker while searching on Amazon India & the US websites. Tribit speakers had very positive ratings on the Amazon USA website. A German Sound Engineer with the name Oluv had highly recommended it on his youtube channel (Oluvs Gadgets) Please do check his channel and the speaker comparison database as he has the best possible collection of speakers and testing tools which will definitely help you. (Highly Recommend) I've been using this speaker for about 4-5 days now. (Being one of the first ones to order) You can consider this as an initial review rather than a final review as its only been a few days. These are my findings based on initial usage:- PACKAGING & CONTENTS The box contains Speaker, Micro USB Cable, AUX Cable & the setup manual. Pretty decent packaging. DESIGN & BUILT The design is pretty basic like the Sony or Anker products. It has a rubberised plastic build & a metal grill up front. Behind is a cover to access the USB & Aux ports. Above are the Power,Bluetooth, +, -, Play & the X-Bass buttons. Two small LEDs for the Power/Bluetooth & X-Bass indications. The weight of this speaker according to me is bit on the heavier side. BATTERY & CHARGING As per my testing, the battery takes about 3 Hours & 45 Minutes to charge completely from 0 on a 5V 2Amp charger. I used this charger as Tribit does not recommend using fast chargers as it may cause internal damage over time. The battery life is great as per my initial testing. Though I feel that the 20 Hours playback time is somewhat exaggerated. You may achieve the 20 hours playback time on a moderate volume & X-Bass off settings. As of now I'm getting around 11.5 hours as per my usage which is generally 75% volume & X-Bass ON. There is a battery saving feature on this speaker which makes it turn off after 30 minutes of no audio playback. AUDIO QUALITY This is the area where this speaker becomes unbeatable for this price range. The audio output is pretty loud for a small speaker. The Highs, Mids & Lows are produced excellently. There is such a good depth & clarity to the audio which is very difficult to find in this price range. (Also even till Rs.10000/- segment) The audio signature is clean with good amount of bass unlike some other brands like JBL, Sony etc. which focus solely on the bass & totally neglect the mids & treble. It would be very difficult to find such an audio signature in the budget range. Tribit engineers have really hit the sweet spot here. A massive thumbs up to them! Do note that the X-Bass effect diminishes with higher volumes & the music sounds flat. The bass is good enough to enjoy any sort of genre be it Rock, Pop, EDMs etc. The two 12W drivers & the two Bass radiators make up for a richer fuller sound that you'll surely enjoy. PAIRING WITH AMAZON ECHO DEVICES The main reason behind me getting a portable bluetooth speaker was to amplify the audio of my Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen. I connect the two devices using AUX cable rather than bluetooth. Initially the speaker would turn off after 30 minutes of idle time but later I found out that upon pressing the bluetooth button, the auto-off feature turned off and the speaker doesn't turn off after 30 minutes I was so happy with this tweak as I want my speaker to stay connected to echo dot all day long. COMPARISON WITH X-Sound Go & MAXboom 360 X-Sound Go is the mini version of MAXsound Plus. The audio signature is similar with a lesser amount of Bass due to it having only a single bass radiator. MAXboom 360 has the drivers on the opposite sides thereby giving a wider soundstage and a boomy sound. It will be suitable more for outdoor use or if kept in the center of a room. MAXsound Plus is a multi-directional speaker and suitable for small to medium rooms with it being placed on the either end. The audio dispersion will increase if you place it with tilting the speaker to the back. To get the best comparison, please check Oluv's Gadgets on youtube and his speaker comparison database. CONCLUSION I highly recommend this speaker to everyone who want the perfect audio signature in this price range. It comes with 1 year warranty. The customer support is excellent & they reply to your mails on timely basis. Give it a try & you wont be disappointed.

1.Sound (9/10) = the sound is of the level of a sound company product i.e. JBL,Marshall,Sony ....not like brand companies boat,realme or others . It comes out very clear and you can set your preferences using equaliser.... Xbass will be default and for instrumental songs or soft songs you will use normal mode . Bass if kept in good position i.e. at the corner of the room will come out strong and enjoying. Update : it's brilliance reflect when you play another similar speaker besides it....my roommate had a realme brick which is a solid 20w speaker however infront of this even it sounds hollow, with this speaker every song which we have listened to come back as a surprise as we find instruments and music which was lost previously..... My appreciation of music increased due to this speaker Connectivity : when we connect 2 devices and switch ...the volume reduce and only after pausing and playing 1 time it comes back to normal . Else the connectivity is normal as for any other device. Portability: pro is it's small size which even fits in large pockets however small size + quality material= heavy to an extent that one cannot just keep holding it and enjoying it effortlessly, however it packs as a pro ...just toss it ...it will fit anywhere . Battery is good not as advertised but in general If you party all night ...there's still some juice left If you listen casually for an hour or so ...it will last more than a week @20% it gives warning and turns off after a song or 2 ...it's a good battery health feature which keeps your charging time low and battery health good. Charging time is normal you plug it for an hour or so it will get around 60-70 making it good to go anywhere. Plus it's a c type ....no Hassel Quality ...is the word here ...in material, sound, look, feel ....it makes you relaxed even after spending a 1000₹ more than the value it offers.... P.s. I compared it with my brother's JBL charge 4 but despite almost triple the price the difference is narrow...the JBL is better : In sound around 5% or so In Battery equivalent or less than tribit In portability less as it's big and bulky In looks good or at par In bass and loudness 10% better or so . Purchase it if you want to enjoy music it but if you wanna party with 20 folks it's not gonna cut it .... But for the other 90% of the time ...it's the go to speaker. 4.5 star as everything in the world has room for improvement...

Excellent speaker. The battery life and the sound quality is the best two things of this speaker.

Bought this product in Oct 2022, and have been using the product everyday since then. Got it for around 3900 in sale. For those who dosent want to read the whole long review: Verdict : For the price it is the best speaker in the price bracket and can also go head to head against speakers priced double its price in terms of sound quality. Easy recommendation!!! Pros- 1. Sound Quality (5/5) - The sound quality of the product is very good. The sound quality is quite balanced and you will be definitely satisfied with it. The vocals are crisp with good good instrument seperation. 2. Bass (4.5/5) - For a portable speaker the bass is very good. It comes with 3 modes - normal, XBass and Audiobook mode. The bass is balanced in the normal mode but for bass heads the XBass mode completely boosts the Bass levels and it definitely packs a punch. 3 Loudness (4.5/5) - The loudness is more than sufficient for personal listening and small house parties. And if you want more, you can also pair it another Tribit MaxSound Plus. 4. Battery Life - At 50-60% volume, you can expect around 14hrs battery life and at 100% it drops to approx 7 - 8hrs max. 5. Type-C Charging 6. Build Quality - The speaker is quite well put together and the quality is sturdy and rugged. It has a soft rubberized material on the outside which feels quite good and solid in the hand. The physical buttons are also clicky. Overall a very well built speaker. 7. Connectivity - It comes with bluetooth 5.0. So the the bluetooth connectivity and range is quite good. Form my usage, I hace not faced any connectivity issues till date. Cons - 1. Weight - At approx 850gm its quite a heavy boy to travel around with. 2. Charging Time - It takes around 3 - 4 hrs for a full charge. 3. The speaker switches off once the battery drops to 20%. 4. Not waterproof Cheers!!!

I thought of going for Bose soundlink flex initially, but it was crossing my budget. That is when I came across Tribit (almost 10k lesser than Bose). With all the good reviews I thought of giving it a try. Pros: 1. The BASE! It’s actually better than Bose (surprising looking at the price difference). The clarity of sound is also pretty good, but Bose wins here with slightly better clarity. 2. The 3 different sound modes, one especially for audio books! 3. The compact size and the light weight, easy to carry while travelling 4. Company claims the speaker to be 100% water proof (i did not dare to verify this!!) Cons: 1. The battery life I felt could have been better. Company claims Extreme 20 hour playtime, but it won’t last beyond 8-10 hours after a full charge. 2. The volume adjustment with iPhone doesn’t get synced the best. Its a fantastic speaker, given the price point. I have been using this one for nearly 2 months now, and I am happy!

I purchased the Tribit MaxSound Plus 24W speaker in 2023. Initially, the sound quality was good and the speaker worked fine at all volume levels. However, after regular use over time, a serious issue developed. Whenever the volume is set to maximum, the speaker automatically shuts down and restarts repeatedly, even with a fully charged battery. At medium or low volume it works, but a speaker that cannot operate reliably at full volume is clearly not performing as advertised. I contacted Tribit support and shared all details. Their response confirmed that this is a quality-related issue with no available fix. They also confirmed that: No paid repair service is available No service centers or repair support exist in India Once out of warranty, the product is essentially non-repairable They only offered a discount on a new product, without any assurance that future models would be supported or repairable either. Important for Indian buyers: Tribit has no visible after-sales service or repair ecosystem in India If a defect appears after warranty, you are left with no solution The product may not age well under normal usage Sound is decent initially, but long-term reliability and support are weak. I would advise buyers to consider brands with proper service infrastructure in India, especially for electronics at this price point.

Sound quality is good

“No, this is not the same Max Sound Plus that I bought in 2020 or earlier. The sweetness and richness of the sound is gone. The earlier Max Sound Plus may not have been so technically advanced, and it couldn’t pair two units, but in terms of sound quality it was much better. In the name of upgrading, Tribit has actually ruined that sound quality. I’m very disappointed. I won’t buy this again.”

El diseño no es el mejor, Pero la calidad de los materiales es muy buena, la bocina se siente sólida y de calidad. Yo la uso en una terraza y la potencia me impresiona, para el tamaño suena muy bien. Fidelidad un poco abajo de las jbl pero por encima de las wonderboom. Un bajo bastante decente para el tamaño. Me voy a hacer fan de la marca

Tribit definitely bat above average with quality and price point

After buying, trying and returning two sub 50 CAD units like these, I finally bit the bullet and went for this unit. I had my eye on a soundbite 3 as well but seeing that it had less wattage tweeters in them than in this one, I went for this one. After I turned it on and the sounds started coming out of it, I knew that this was it! This one that did the trick. This and many others in this price range are all similarly built but it really depends on the brand whether you will end up getting a good heavy unit with good grade diaphragms or just a good looking knock offs that are of no use unless you are sitting right next to them. I bought two models before this, one from musibaby which is of the shape of a coke can and a second one from a brand called Lenrue, both of which I returned because I didn't get anything out of them in terms of sound quality. I was looking for something around 40 ish CAD but there is nothing in that range that doesn't sound like crap. 70 ish CAD including tax for this and finally I am happy. One thing to note here is that all of these speakers are not subwoofers and you will never get what a full size subwoofer can give you no matter how much you spend. That being said, this speaker seems to have nice components in it that makes it much heavier than those cheaper units that are below 50 CAD. These ones have two 12 W tweeters in it. On top of that , the bass set up, which I have to say, is able to bring out the low end of tracks just enough so that you know what exactly that track actually sounded like when it got mastered at the studio, which is quite impossible to hear with say a TV speaker which is mostly flat in its sound profile. This unit also handles highs and mids equally well even at very high volumes which is impressive considering the price point. String instruments like guitar , violin, cello or base have a hum in their low frequency that just brings out the warmth in the sound that they produce. If you have ever sat near a person playing one of these instruments, you will know what I'm talking about. I'm happy to say that this unit brings out that subtle warm low frequency hum for instruments that rely on strings to output their sound frequencies. The two models that I bought earlier and returned didn't even stand a chance at reproducing any low-end sounds even though they were advertised as having an extreme bass and all and but unfortunately they failed miserably in delivering what they were advertising. This one however gives off a nice neutral sound that most people will appreciate right away. This is a good unit that's similar to the sound profile of the big shots like JBL, Marshall etc. So go for it if you are in the market for a speaker that won't break your bank and at the same time satisfies you in terms of the frequencies that it produces across low, mid and highs.
